Demons

The world was her oyster
Until she came to see
The undying demons
That never cease to be

She's always fighting
A war that never stops
She tries to escape
But they are the cops

Now she's in jail
For a crime never committed
Won't let her go
Until she has admitted

"I am the one to blame,
For it is all my fault."
She lowers her head
From her eyes tears of salt.

Her head was hung
By a noose called hate
The tree was guilt
And the knot was fate
