Dylan's P.O.V.
It's been days since me and Milo broke up after what happened.
We just became friends and all.
And I was just there, playing video games. And reading comics.
Then Aaliyah called.
Finally, her
"Dylan." She smiled. Her face glowed as the sun reflected her brunette hair.
"Aaliyah. Hey." I say shyly. I blush when I look at her. I rubbed my arm.
"I heard about you and Milo." She touched my hand.
"Yeah, it's hard though."
She came to me and hugged me . Her hug was so genuine.
She entered my house and placed the gifts in the table.
"I also heard about the school. Our schools are going to collide. Chicago and Boston High will conduct, um, a dance thingy." She clicked her fingers in confusion.
"Really?"
"Yeah. I just came here for me to practice dancing with you." She laid her hands on my shoulders.
"Oh. Okay. Let's do it."
I grabbed her waist and looked straight into her eyes without any hesitation.
As we danced slowly, her hands slipped off and went to my hands, causing us to face our hands together.
Her eyes reflect her positivity.
"Do you feel somehow awkward?" She talked since it was awkwardly silent.
"A bit. I'm just used to, you know, dancing with boys and all."
Aaliyah's P.O.V.
God, his eyes glowed. He look deep into mine.
His brunette hair was haven.
I can't believe I'm dancing with Dylan.
My crush and my love.
He leaned to my face and began kissing me.
My heartbeat literally skipped. My stomachs were releasing butterflies (metaphorically).
You know how I felt about him. He was the guy I fell for when we first met him. And when I became friends with him, he became a part of me.
I decided to kiss him back. I was just gleeful.
I love you, Dylan.
We stopped kissing, and we chuckled. You know, it's us.
The song finished.
I began packing my things and was ready to go.
"Thanks for everything, Dylan. For the dance and for the kiss." I stroked his hair.
"No problem. I love you Aaliyah." He said to me. Oh my, those days.
"I love you too, Dylan." I give him a good bye kiss.
It was just a peck.
