I couldn't sleep that night, my eyes just wouldn't let my thoughts fade. It was as if there were cogs in my head spinning faster and faster each time I'd blink just to keep my eyes open. The night still crept over me as the minutes turned into hours, luckily my thoughts just seemed to make time go faster.
"God why did my parents have to do this" I whispered to myself, my glare now fixed on the moonlight that squeezed through my curtains. The light seemed to blind my emerald green eyes but the light seemed just bright enough for my eyes to bare the silver light.

Time had passed and the dark yellow light of the rising sun began to replace the creeping darkness that once laid a blanket over the sky. My eyes began to finally become heavy, taking to finally rest my mind and thoughts. The golden light began to grow brighter into my room as I began to finally drift off into the slumber that I had been waiting for.
As I finally closed my eyes to sleep the day away a familiar figure came racing into my room, followed by three other figures standing at the door.
"Rise and shine sleeping beauty, you may have only a week left here but today's gonna be the best day of your life!!" The figure told me as he jumped onto of me, vigorously shaking me awake.
I struggled to open my eyes but as soon as I lifted my eyes my sight my morning was greeted by my familiar friends Lillian, Phillip, Marzia and Tyler still shaking me awake.
"Come on Josphine hurry up and get dressed we have a hole plan set for today." Spoke Marzia, flicking her chocolate brown hair out of her face.
As I begin to awaken myself to the greetings of my friends I moaned as stretched my arms out wide.
"Morning guys" I finally spoke, trying to talk above my yawn "hang on aren't you guys meant to be at school?"
"Yeah but our parents said that we could spend once last memorable moment with you before you go" replied Phillip.
"Well if u guys wanna do something then you might as well let me get dressed!" I spoke, throwing my pillow at them all.
"Ok, ok but don't be too long" said Lillian as she pushed everyone out of the door, closing it behind her.
As they closed the door behind them a sudden smile came upon my face, bringing a grateful sigh amongst my breath.
"What did I do to deserve such great friends" I quietly said to myself as got out of bed and onto my half awaken feet.
As I came to my wardrobe there we hardly any clothes left, I had packed most of them away. Luckily I had left my favourite peach skirt overalls and a pretty white t-shirt to go underneath.
I quickly brushed my hair and tied it in a high bun, put my contacts in and met my friends downstairs.

"Wow that looks amazing on you!" Complimented Lillian.
"Thanks" I replied as a took a small twirl. "So where are we going?" I asked.
"Well..." Began Tyler "since you haven't had breakfast we figured we could go eat somewhere and then go into town."
"That sounds fun!"
I didn't want to tell my friends that I hadn't gotten any sleep but I still wanted to spend this time with them, I figured I'd have to keep my eyes open the best I could.
"Well come on then, let's get going." Spoke Lillian "we've got a fun day planned."
And with that being said we all walked out the door ready for exiting day that lay ahead.
