The plane ride was so long, too long. The sight of being above the place you loved didn't feel good at all, it was just emotional. It was even worse since my parents got separate seats from me, luckily I got placed near the window so I had something to look at for a while. This was really boring, all I could do was just flick through pictures and write stories on my phone, I'd occasionally get out my sketch book and draw for a bit but I was still bored. But each time I'd take my head out of my memories the pounding noises of the people around me would come throbbing through my head. I was so grateful that I kept myself awake the night before, I knew that I couldn't get to sleep on my own so I stayed up all night watching anime and reading Manga. As soon as night hit the sky my eyes set the alarm for me to go to sleep.*Arriving in London*
"FINALLY!" I spoke, stretching my arms out wide. "It felt like an eternity on that hell of a plane."
"Well now that that's over we best go find our bags." Spoke my dad.Finding our bags wasn't much of a fuss, but it did take up quite a bit of our time.
Once we finally received our luggage we booked a taxi and headed off for our brand new house.
All the new, different sights of London seemed to blow away all the negative sides of moving. We passed so many amazing statues, buildings and I even saw Big Ben, luckily I remembered to take a picture of it for my friends back in Italy. The taxi drive took about at least half an hour due to the traffic and my dads constant thirst for food.
When we finally arrived at our new house I couldn't believe what I was looking at.
"D..Dad" I stuttered, standing at the front of the house, my eyes widened with surprise. "Are you sure this is our house."
"Of course, didn't I tell you about my new job" my Dad replied.
"N..no."
"Oh, well I've been employed as a lawyer, they told me that I'd be paid a lot of money if we came to live down in London."
"Oh, nice."
It was quite a big house but nothing like the mansions we saw on T.V, though it was quite big. There was a beautiful garden outside and a really nice balcony. It was painted a smooth, creamy white with a small pebble pathway to the door.
"Well let's have a look inside." Spoke my mum, pushing dad in front as to lead the way, after all he did chose the house.
As we gained to door dad quickly grabbed me by the wrist and dragged me forward, placing me in front.
"Since you've had the toughest time moving here why don't you have the honour of going in first." He said to me.
I wasn't sure if he was scared or if he really wanted he to have the honours, either way I didn't mind.
As I opened the the two doors at once the sound of its creeks sent shivers down my spine. As the doors reached as wide as they could the inside just seemed like a silhouette of household objects. I took a couple of steps into the house and turned my head as to look for a light switch, it didn't take too long before one came into sight. Flicking the switch a bunch of silver lights burst into sight, covering the house in brightness. As all the silhouette objects turned to colour, the house lit up in an instant, all the colours of rose gold and silver were much of my likings.
"What do you think, did I make a good choice in house?" Spoke my Dad, putting his hand on my shoulder.
"It's....it's....AMAZING!!!" I replied, a glowing spark in my emerald green eyes.
"Well I'm glad, why don't you take a look at your room." He spoke.
"Sure but which one is it?" I replied.
"Whichever one speaks to you."
Before anyone could say another word I was already racing up the stairs, my hand sliding along the smooth black railing.
I would be a little sad to have to get use to new furniture around the house after always seeing the familiar ornaments around the place, but I'd get use to it.
As I reach the top of the stairs I turned my head to the four doors that lay in front of me. I kept turning my head back and forth, deciding which door seemed like mine. I turned my head to end door that stood beside a circled window that shone a silver light through the hall. In an instant I knew that this was the door for me. Opening it the door slightly creeped as I gently pushed it forward. As the door reached its end I was greeted with a beautiful bright room full of pastel colours of blue, pink and white. A large window lit up the entire room with its crystal glare, showing me the view of the London's dull city streets. sAt that very moment I knew that this room was born for me, I could already picture so many fun memories of me in this room, but it still wasn't home. Two days had passed and we were almost settled into our new house, most of our stuff had been put into the house where their places were meant besides a couple of tables and ornaments. I had packed all of my clothes into my room and settled all my ornaments to make it like home, but today was the day where I'd have to start all over again, today was the first day of my new school.
