Chapter 3: Nightmares and flashbacks....

We arrived at our be apartment #226. When we went inside, it was pretty big. There was 2 bedrooms, a nice kitchen and 2 full bathrooms!

"Wow, this is actually nice for an apartment!" I exclaimed in awe.

Sanji simply nodded and started to look around the apartment. I griined madly as I ran and picked the biggest room, leaving Sanji with the smallest room! Mwhahaha!

"I call the big room!" I yelled.

Sanji sighed and said, "We share a room remember, and YOU should know why..."

"Oh yeah...." I mumbled glumly.

Sanji sighed. He knew why we shared the room, it's the nightmares! I can't stand them, but they come out of nowhere... Haunting me everyday of my life. So now I can't sleep without him, it's embarrassing to be sleeping with your twin brother when your 12. I looked up at the clock , it's 6:59, around the me and Sanji sleep.

"Oi! Sanji should we go to bed?" I asked.

He nodded and hopped in bed, I did the same but with my back facing him.

"Goodnight sis"

"Goodnight brother"

And then we both fell asleep peacefully.... Or did we..?

- NightmareFlashback (6 years old)-

I was at home. I just woke up from a nightmare and was going to the bathroom. I rubbed my eyes from the lack of sleep, that's when I heard the most horrifying scream...... A scream of bloody murder! My eyes widened , d-did I just hear that!? Another scream was heard, that's when my senses came and I ran to Sanji. I ran to our room and burst through the door. I saw Sanji sleeping peacefully through this whole thing!? This angered me, so I went up to him and started to shake him awake.

"Sanji, Sanji wake up!" I screamed while shaking him.

He slowly started to wake up..

"Err...what's wrong imoto?" Sanji asked. (Imoto means little sister)

Another groups of screams were heard, and with that Sanji jump out of bed.

"What's happening?!" he asked nervously.

I didn't answer...I just started to cry right away. I-I just couldn't stand hearing the screams of our dieing clan members!

"S-Sanji...we need t-to hide now! I'm s-scared, wh-What if kaasan... Otousan...are g-gone!" I yelled through sobs. (kaasan- mom Otousan- dad)

"I-It's ok, were going to find them. Let's go before it's to late..." Sanji reassured me.

I nodded as he grabbed my hand and pulled me threw our house. We kept doing twists and turns, until we finally made it to our parents room. Sanji put his finger to his lip, telling me to be quiet. I just stood there as he opened the door slowly...

There was a person in a cloak with a bloody sword, he swiped the sword across our parents throat. Blood flowed out the wound like a river.

T-They..just fell..like they were sleeping..!? I started to cry more than before as Sanji and I ran for our lifes.

# Sanji's view #

I was out of bed getting a drink to cool myself down since I had a nightmare. It wasn't bad, I just got scared... Then I heard an ear peircing scream, it reminded me so much of our parents death.. Another one came and that's when I ran to our room. When I go in the room, I see Kanji shaking uncontrollably.

My eyes widened. She's having a nightmare!? Dammit!! I grabbed her and placed her on my lap, hugging her tightly.

"Kanji wake up! Come on, it's just a dream, wake up I'm here!" I yelled desperately.

Kanji got heavier in my lap,

"S-Sanji...?" Kanji asked.

I sighed that she was fine my sister was safe..

"It's ok..it's me, don't worry go back to sleep..." I said.

"K-kaasan.... Ot-Otousan!" She yelled while crying.

"Shh it's okay, got to bed..." I said while comforting her.

Five minutes later she finally fell asleep..
