Chapter 9: First mission... Lets say boring as hell!

Kanji's View

"Naruto at point A!"

"You're slow, Naruto!"

"Ok squad seven... Hm?! Target has moved, follow it!"

I jumped from my spot, and chased after the target. I hid behind a bush, and watched our target, Tora.

"Alright, he's over there!"

Sasuke, and me were close to Tora ready to capture. I got up ready to capture Tora.

"What's your distance from the target?" Otōsan asked, a.k.a Kakashi.

"Five meters, I'm ready to go anytime!" Naruto said

"Five meters" I whispered

"same, I'm ready" Sasuke said

"hehehe, same as Sasuke-kun!" Sakura squealed

"okay... Go!" Kakashi exclaimed

We all jumped out, I opened my hands ready to catch Tora. But Naruto got to Tora first.. I don't ink Tora likes Naruto, from the looks of it he hates him.

"got him!!" Naruto shouted, while holding Tora by his stomach pretty tightly.

Tora screeched and started scratching Naruto viciously. I glared at the cat, and yanked it away from Naruto.

"bad cat!" I scolded

the cat slouched in my arms, it looked depressed. I sweat dropped and patted its head..

"there..there..kitty" I mumbled unsure and confused.

"does the target have a ribbon on its right ear?" Otōsan asked

I looked at its right ear and there was a cute little ribbon.

"yea" I said while holding my earpiece

"Yes, it's our target no mistake." Sasuke said

I sighed in relief, finally we caught the dang cat, this stupid mission was long enough.. I jumped on a branch and leaned on the tree, Tora was on my head. We were pretty high up, hey there's a good view. I went up higher and looked at the sky, it look so nice up here-

"ISNT THERE A MISSION WITH MORE SENSE TO IT!?" Naruto shouted really, really loudly.

"GAHHH"

I shrieked in pain while holding my ear, I walked backwards and stumbled. Oh crap I forgot I'm on a tree branch! I gasped and fell down. I quickly grabbed Tora off my head, and placed him on my chest to protect him. I waited for the ground to hit me.

"ugh!" Was all that came out my mouth when I hit the ground.

My back hurt a lot, I groaned and tried to get up. I sat up and looked at Tora, I sighed, he's still safe. I got on my feet and started walking towards the others. I saw my team, they were all glaring at Naruto or holding their ear.

"Oi!" I called out some what raspy

My team turned towards me, Otōsan waved me over. Good, they didn't see me get hurt. I don't need them to worry about me.. But wow, does Naruto have an extremely loud voice. I rubbed my ear unconsciously. I smiled and ran over to them.

"Ne, Otōsan, since we got Tora can we turn in our mission now" I asked

Otōsan did a closed eye smile, and ruffled my hair. I laughed and tried pushing his hands away, tried...

At the Hokage's mansion

Me and Naruto burst through the door grinning ear to ear. Why? We just finished our first mission! Plus we really, really want a awesome mission. Hopefully better then catching Tora.. I quickly walked over to our client and handed her Tora, she suffocated the poor thing and ran out the room... I sweat dropped but remembered we need a new mission!
