Living With The Player

Chapter 1:

"Val baby? Wake up. We're  leaving in 5 hours, please wake up darling."

I rubbed my eyes to clear my blurry vision and saw my mom and I just remembered that my parents will be leaving me today!

I looked at my alarm clock and it was 9:27 a.m. I stood up and showered and chose to wear a plain red crop top and match it with a pair of white shorts.

"Val can you please make me some coffee?" My mother asked with a small smile.

"Make that two!" Screamed my dad coming out of the restroom.

I walk down stairs to make them some coffee until I got a text from Maria.

"Hello dear. We will pick you up in 4 hours. See you soon darling!"

I heard that Player Kyle was her son. Oh rumors.

"I'm going to miss you darling, remember to always call us before you sleep okay? We love you." My mom said kissing me goodbye before I leave to Maria's house. It was sad because I don't get to see them leave.

"I promise mom. Please take care there, I love you." I kiss my parents goodbye as I hop in to Maria's car and as I wish it wasn't true, Kyle was there in the back seat, with me.

"So Valerie have you seen Kyle around school?" Maria asks me.

"Oh yes." I reply.

"I actually see you a lot in 4th period. You know? Ms. Parker?" He says like I don't notice he's there. Of course I know he's there. How do you not notice? He always looks so damn cute. Okay why am I saying this?

"Yes I see you! We were supposed to be partners actually until your ex girlfriend got mad and begged the teacher to make you and her partners." I said with a small laugh.

"Yup. Vanessa is a little overprotective. Or was." He says smiling at me. His smiles are amazing, because he barely does it.

"Well now that you guys know you guys are in the same class maybe you guys can work together if there's a partner group or to tutor. Right?" Maria asks smiling at us. But I do agree with her. Kyle has bad grades and needs to step up.
