Living With The Player

Chapter 5:

As I walk home, I completely forgot that Ashley was going to be at Kyle's house. And remembering her threat I think I should go home quick.

But as I came home I realized I was late. Ashley was sitting on Kyle's lap. I ruined the moment and told her to leave the house.

"What the hell Valerie! I actually liked her! What the fuck did I do to you?!" Kyle yelled at me.

I stay speechless, I don't know what got into me. I was probably jealous. Or I just really hated her.

"I was being nice to you. But now, you're gonna pay." He says storming outside and slamming the door. What have I done?

As Kyle comes home he was carrying groceries.

"Is that food?" I ask, obviously making conversation.

"Yeah. And some supplies we need for the project." He replies but he gets a couple of things and go inside his room.

After eating dinner with Kyle and his family I go inside my room to get a goodnight sleep.

But after a while I got itchy. But I just brush it off. And then I get up and I saw itching powder on my bed! Kyle did this!

I walk into his room and saw a shirtless Kyle, but I didn't care because I was mad.

"So you must've felt the itching powder?" Kyle says still closing his eyes but smirking.

"What did I do?! Just because I asked Ashley to leave?! You can always find a better girl!" I said yelling at him. Lucky his parents parents aren't here, they left to wok.

He stood up and walks over to me.

"I liked her. Nobody is like her." He said staring into my soul.

"She threatened me! I'm glad nobody is like her then. She said to keep my hands away from you when it's so damn obvious I don't like you!" I said. I wasn't sure if I was lying.

"Whatever Val. But you made a wrong decision. I was being Kind Kyle. Now I'm not." He said going back to sleep. And as I was leaving the room he threw a water balloon at my back.

"Round One." He says smirking then winking at me. This is all going bad. But I'm not going down without a fight.
