chapter 8

Xavier pov

I stared at the pale yet pretty face laying on the bed .she was indeed very beautiful , i walked back to sit at the arm chair close to her bed crossing my legs as i thought about how i had found her

Flashback

"jack pullover " I bellowed at my driver who immediately stop the car ,i got out running to where the man had dropped a body.

Normally ,I am not the kind of guy to stop for such things but something pulled me ,I didn't understand the kind of feeling .i quickly dropped to my knees on the ground to check if she was still alive ,her breathing was shallow ,she had a faint pulse realising this i told jack to call my personal doctor to meet us at the house .

Different was running through my head , i turned to see jack already on the phone .i looked back at the girl she was indeed a very pretty girl . i wonder why she was dropped here ,maybe the man raped her but on looking at her outfit ,she didn't look like who was physically abused .she was shot on her abdomen.

She was bleeding too much .I removed my jacket to apply pressure the wound , after jack finished his call he assisted me in carrying her to the car .we sped off to the house.

On getting to the house i saw that Tonez ,my personal doctor who ran toward us .he was looking at me confusely when he saw i wasn't the one who was injured ,i glared at him which made him to remove his eyes and look at the girl on my arms now

After taking her to a room located on the west wing of my mansion , tonez removed the bullet from her stomach ,she was lucky that it didn't affect any of her organs ,she was stable after wards ,but was still in a coma.

END OF FLASHBACK

She has been in coma for since when in found her , tonez said it was due to the trauma she had that is making her shut down.

I was still sitting on the chair in her room ,i had grown use to her ,that i always come visit her everyday i looked at face again it was very pale ,i prayed silently that she wakes up soon ,i wanted to ask her a lot of questions i found out a little about her from her hand bag. Her name was gemma walters from her passport ,there was nothing really important in her handbag i had told my head house keeper to keep the things in her hand bag safe

My phone beeped signalling me that i had a message , i brought it out from my pocket and saw the message was from my assistant , she was reminding about my 2pm meeting i looked at my wristwatch it was already 1:15  ,   i sighed as stood up from the chair i was sitting paying a last glance at the sleeping beauty before closing the door behind me as i stepped out of the room

              Another chapter am excited for the new character.
