GEMMA POV

Starring from sleep ,i slowly open my eyes to the sunlight entering my eyes .i look around the room and saw that all the equipment here before were all gone now .i started to panic a little bit i sat up slowly supporting myself with my left hand and the right one on my stomach . maybe i was in the wrong room ... oh my gosh before i could wallow more into my crazy thoughts the door opened revealing a maid .i release the breath i didn't even know i was holding . it was Selene , i smiled at her as the approach my bed selene had been my personal maid since i woke up she was more like a friend ,i was starting to really warm up to her .

"Good morning miss gemma, hope you slept well" she greeted me as soon as she did a little what??? I didn't know what she did but she bent down a little while raising the hem of her dress lightly before straighten up back i looked at her confused

"Hum what did you just do "pointing my fingers at the floor, she smiled at me

"It's called a curtsy ma " she told me nodding her head at me as if telling what she was saying i knew it right away . i laughed inwardly at this

"Ok thanks, what happened to my room Selene" i asked her as she was going towards the bathroom, but stopped, and she turned around to look at me.

" oh the equipments " realising what i was talking about ,i nodded " Mr. Marco said to remove it last night after you fell asleep ,since you are so much better now and you don't show any sign of relapse"

I looked down at my hand, i wonder why i had not hear any sound of this moving, wow maybe my type of amnesia includes deep sleeping. Selene must have sensed my worry when i felt her closed to me i looked up to her, she was kneeling down beside me, taking my hand in hers she looked me in the eyes

"Don't worry miss gemma everything will be alright, you just have to relax and don't think so much, am very sure you with get your memory back" i nodded at her as she got up and walked back into the bathroom. i really hope i get my memory back soon so i could figure how and why i was shot ,i wanted to know if i had a family out there. I was so grateful to Mr. Xavier for saving my life .i am going to try and do every possible best to gain memory back.

Selene came back into the room telling me that my bath was ready, i got up and walked into the bathroom, i undressed with Selene helping me so i went stress my wound which the bandage have been removed now.i stepped into the massive bath tub that could fit in 10 people at once .i relaxed with Selene leaving the bathroom giving me a little privacy.

About 20 minutes later i was done, fully dressed in a simple flower summer gown selene had picked out for me .i sat back down at my bed waiting for my breakfast to be brought up

On that thought the door opened, Selene came in with nothing on her hands, as she approach me.

" Mr. Xavier would like you if u come down for dinner "wow i was quite surprise at that , heat rushed to my cheeks ,i tried to cover them which gained Selene a laugh "aww don't be shy ,i know you like him" she said raising her eyebrows at me in a funny way . i shook my head " no i don't like him it's just that i get this weird feeling in my stomach whenever he is near me and my skin tickles when he touches my hand ,that's all" i told her innocently looking at her my eyes were wide now . Selene was looking at me now with a strange look in her face as if the was admiring me.i shifted uncomfortably where i was sitting , she sat down beside me ,then she took a deep breath.

"Miss gemma .." i cut her " please call me gemma ,please " i told her , she nodded before she continued

" ok gemma , i think what you feel is what people who are truly met to be feel ,people who are truly in love ,but i don't know if the boss feels that way about you too ,not that am trying to dispute the fact that he might feel the same way , i don't know .but just try and be your self . Ok? "She asked me looking into my eyes. i sighed "ok i will but please how do i stop my cheeks from getting heated " i whined out looking at Selene who had gotten up from the bed stretching her hand s for me to take she laughed out " that gemma you can't stop as far as you like the boss whenever you see him it's going to happen" she told me pinching my cheeks ,i turned my face away from her hands laughing too as we left the room .

On getting downstairs i had noticed that i had never been down before, the place was very beautiful and really expensive looking .selene directed me towards a grand dining room that had a table so long it could contain 30 seats and the table was decorated with mouth watering foods .at the starting of the table was seat Mr. Xavier who was looking so handsome was looking at him as i walked toward where he was because the table was long . i took my seat opposite him ,i was still looking at him accessing his great features deep silver like eyes and strong chin and neatly shaved beards that fits his face so good and i just wanted to run my fingers through it ....what.... snap out of it gemma ,i looked away from him clearing my throat

"Good morning gemma, i guessed you slept ok" Mr. Xavier greeted me as he put down the paper he was reading, i looked at him trying not to start making my face get heated already

" yes thank you Mr. Xavier"

"Come on gemma don't me called Mr. please am not your boss or anything you are my guest please" he told me i nodded .

Breakfast was brief since Xavier had to go to work ,i went up to my room but not before he told me i was free to roam around and not just stay in my room doing nothing , and that i should at least try and do things exciting , he also promise to come back for dinner. And then he did something that made my mind go haywire ...... " selene he kissed my cheeks!!!!!" i practically screamed as i ran towards where selene ,my hand on my stomach .selene just stared at me shocked before she blinked a couple times

" wow am so happy but please don't read too much meaning into this please ,just try and take it easy ,you know you don't have your memory back just calm down a bit" she told me ,i looked at the floor and signed heavily ,i guess she is right i me it just a kiss on the cheeks ,i still need to focus on my getting my memory back and leave this place am sure i had a life out there before i was shot.... well that's a great plan

Yet another chapter again am so grateful to all my readers, i didn't expect my story to reach a 100 read but with the support from my loving readers i achieved that
