Michael's pov

"Are you guys team instinct,valor or mystic?" one of the fans asked us at soundcheck "Valor all the way" I answered with a chuckle "what no? Mystic as fuck" Luke disagreed "I agree with Luke" I heard Ashton say and exchanged a high five "wellll it wouldn't be fair if one is left out so I'll go with instinct" Another fan took the mic and asked "do you think Calum would end up with 25 dogs?" "No doubt about it" Calum said "Calum you can't answer a question that's about you" I heard Ashton say which made me chuckle, yet again, he is so adorable. Yes I called him adorable, deal with it "well maybe I want to" "well maybe you shouldn't" "well mayb-" "guys oh my god. But yes he probably would" Luke answered, the rest of soundcheck more or less went like that, questions asked, questioned answered.

Now it was only time for the last question "Ashton are you gay?, well or bi..or pan..but Bryana.. Or was that a fake relationship?? But you guys were such goals!, Wait I confused myself" Luke let out a laugh, but Ashton just looked pure uncomfortable "erm the relationship wasn't fake" I looked at him, seeing if he would say anymore but he just took the mic away from his mouth. I decided to tease him a little "you didn't actually answer the question" I said with a smirk, I watched as Ashton's facial expression turned into nervous but quickly regained a normal calm one "no. I'm not gay" "are you sure?" I asked with a hint of tease still in my tone "yes Michal I'm sure!" Ashton snapped, making any fans eyes turn to shock, Ashton was never like that in front of the fans "I er, fuck sorry guys" Ashton quickly mumbled and looked down, hardly saying anything for the rest of soundcheck.

40 odd minutes left, soundcheck was finished and we all left the stage and headed to the backstage area, "ash what was all that about?" I heard Calum ask Ashton who just gave off a shrug in reply "its not like you are any of those things so dude chill" Luke chuckled and continued "most of the fandom think I was born a girl" "but that's different, you are a girl Hemmings" I said as I included myself into the conversation yet kept a close eye on Ash since he was acting off, "but yeah ash, don't let it bother you" he hummed in response and walked off,  leaving us three share an exchanged concerned look to each other "I'll go" Calum said and followed Ashton from a distant before slowly catching up to him. I watched them both as they faded away, only to wonder what and why Ashton was being so on edge recently and not exactly the same.

All over one question. But he is straight, I know he is, he is the most straight guy I know, which is a shame,  I've been crushing on this guy for a long ass time now, but he can never know, I don't want to ruin what we have, even though on what we have, I wish it could be more.

I finally updated! Idk how this is going to go but yeah, the cliche of both liking each other but the other not knowing, hopefully this will improve XD
