chapter three

Ashton's pov

I couldn't stay there, they didn't understand, they didn't understand why I was like this, they didn't understand who I truly was..the thoughts in my head made me let out a deep sigh as I ran my hands through my new short haircut, "yo Ashton?" I heard Calum say to me,  not too  far away. I turned around and faced him, giving a quick fake smile.

"Yeah man?" I asked "you alright?, you seem to pretty of edge recently" "I'm fine Cal, I just.. I just" Calum gave a questioning raised eyebrow, concern traced in his eyes "tour life is just getting to me a little" I said with a small chuckle "are you sure?" "Positive, I just need some rest, that's all." "And it wasn't because of one of the fans asking if you-" 'no." I cut him off yet quickly regret it "I er um, no, just tired" "right.." Calum said unsurely "er bye" I said and walked off. Walking passed Rena who smiled and gave me a quick "hey ash" as we passed each other but I gave no response, just carried on walking but faintly hearing Rena ask Calum "what's his problem?" "Pft, no idea". Great just great, now I seem like a total ass.

Calum's pov

Rena and I both frowned at Ashton's unusual behaviour, and both walked over to the rest of the guys, seeing the rest of Hey Violet there too "so?" Michael asked, I gave a shrug and sat down next to Nia, kissing her cheek and wrapping one of my arms around her shoulder, letting her head rest down on mine, "maybe he is on his man period" Casey said, trying to lighten up the atmosphere, I gave out a light hearted laugh, "maybe dude maybe".

Michael's pov

I quickly got up from my seat "Clifford where you going" I heard Luke ask, not even looking up from his phone "imma talk to him, duh. Now move your feet" I said since they were stretched in my way "I think all he needs is some space" Miranda said while putting her hair in a bun "but-" "Gordon. He needs space" Miranda said and cut me off, giving a stern warning look. I sat back down and slouched my shoulders, mumbling a small "sorry mum" .

*4 hours later *

(Still Michael's pov)

The concert was just about to start, the Hey Violet guys had just come off stage and me, Luke and Cal were tuning our guitars and bass. Ashton hadn't come back yet and I was beyond worried sick "okay he has had his space!" I blurted out, keeping it inside of me for too long, Calum gave out a sigh "he will be here okay. I know he will" "we go on stage in less than 5 minutes!" "I know I know, calm" I groaned, how could I be calm at a time like this??, he could be anywhere!.

A minute or so went by and Luke was about to go on stage, telling the fans that there would be a delay in the show, I don't know how to feel, I'm worried sick yet mad at the same time, this is so unlike him, I suddenly heard the sounds of the main doors being opened and closed, quickly turning my head to see who it was, my eyes went wide with shock and relief "Ashton!" I shouted which made everyone's else's turn and face him, relief yet slight annoyance washed over everyone including my face. He gave a slight nod and picked up his drumsticks "where the fuck were you man?!" I said and stood up, making my way over to him but he gave no reply "hello Ashton?! I'm talking to you." Yet again no response but his eyes glued to the floor and began to walk past but I put my hand on his shoulder, softly pulling him back to face me "Ashton we were all worried to death." "I know I know, I'm sorry" he mumbled, his voice slightly cracked as if he had been crying for hours "Ashton? Ashton have you been crying?" I asked and lifted up his chin, shocked to see his eyes blood shot red and puffy "Ashton what ha-"

"Boys now!"

Imma try and update on this more, I also made this chapter a decent length for once too lmao. And since this is during slfl yes ofc Hey Violet will be in this, and I FUCKING LOVE THEM, also I  do believe Cal and Nia are dating which I ship af, so yas they will be a couple in this too, Anyway! I hope you enjoyed it!
