Chapter Two

Luna's POV

I sat back on my butt instead of my haunches and looked at Rin for what seemed like the fiftyth time. "Rin, were you the one that bandaged me?" I asked her. She turned and looked at me. "Yes I was Lady Luna." she answered and smiled gently at me. My hairs still stood on end around Sesshomaru seeing as he was a dog demon but Rin made me comfortable. The sudden movement I had made earlier reopened a few wounds but I made no indication to anyone. I didn't need anyone's help. That and Rin had already done enough for me. "Lady Luna would you like to travel with us?" Rin asked and the little green toast like thing sharply turned towards her. "How dare you not ask Lord Sesshomaru's permission you little-" I cut off his annoying rant by hissing at him. "Do not talk to her like that you dusting toad." I hissed out. "Rin, do you want her to travel with us?" Lord Sesshomaru asked Rin looking at her, his eyes softening slightly. She nodded vigorously at him. "And do you want to travel with us?" He asked, his eyes hardening as he looked to me. "If I will be no more of a burden than I already am than I shall." I said and smiled gently at Rin. "Yay! Lady Luna!" Rin yelled and threw her arms around my neck. "Rin be careful. She is still wounded. And some are still opened. They opened earlier didn't they?" Sesshomaru said. I nodded as Rin let go of me. "Why didn't you tell me?" Rin asked sadly. "I did not wish to bother you. You have already done enough for me. I did not wish to be a burden any longer." I said and my mind flashed back.

Flashback

I sat in the corner of my room, my leg bleeding profusely. "Luna, are you still bleeding?" Naraku's voice reached my ears. I gave up fighting him a long time ago. "Yes. I am master." I said emotionlessly. "why didn't you tell me my pet?" he sad walking closer. I stiffened slightly. "I did not wish to burden you more master." I said as he knelt beside my bleeding leg. "You dirty little-you've bled all over my floor. I'll have to punish you." he aid and chuckled darkly. Suddenly searing pain flashed through me from my leg. He'd broken my leg. I screamed out and clamped a hand over my mouth. His dark chuckles had filled my ears as I had passed out.

Flashback end

I shook my head and felt the tears from the memory of the pain fell down my face. "Lady Luna are you OK?" Rin asked me looking at me worriedly. "I...am fine." I said and wiped my eyes quickly. Sesshomaru cast a confused look at me. I quickly looked away. "I will go and search for some food." I sad and stood a little too quickly and clutched my stomach in pain. "Lady Luna you shouldn't be exerting yourself right now." Rin exclaimed. "I'll be fine. Do not worry." I said and took off into the woods. 'if I can catch something big it'll last us a while.' I thought. I lifted my nose into the air and sniffed trying to catch the scent of something. Catching a whiff of wolf I ran towards it and let my claws extend. My canines became pointed and razor sharp and I could feel the power I had stored from the years of being Naraku's captive course through me. I came across the wolf and hid in the tree above it. It seemed to have lost its pack. I lunged down on it and sunk my teeth into its neck. It let out a howl as I jerked my head to the left and it's neck broke. I picked up the dead wolf and began running with it back to our camp. I threw it down next to the fire. Rin screamed and ran behind Sesshomaru and began crying. "Rin. What's the matter? It's dead. It's food." I said and looked at her. "Rin was killed by wolves once. Lord Sesshomaru brought her back with the power of his Tenseigua." Toad thing said. "Rin....I'm so sorry. I hadn't known." I said and reached for her only to be growled at by Sesshomaru. I began to hiss at him as I continued to reach towards Rin.
