Sesshomaru X OC

Chapter Seventeen

          I smiled as he kissed me again, this time a hint of hunger and eagerness in the kiss. "You'll have to wait until tonight." I said, a little breathless as he pulled away for air. "Why should I wait?" He asked, his arm snaking around my waist and pulling me closer. "We have guests we need to entertain until tonight." I said, my body feeling hot as his other hand pushed the fabric of my top off my shoulders and his fingertips grazed my skin. He sighed and fixed my top much to my dismay. "You are right. Taking you right now when we have guests would be a bit rude." He said and chuckled. He placed a kiss on my forehead and gave me a mischievous smirk. "But do not think I will not torture you until tonight." He said and walked out of the room leaving me with a burning face. 

              I went and prepared breakfast with Kagome and Sango's help. "So did you and Inuyasha talk earlier this morning?" I asked as I chopped some onions. Kagome nodded, her face solemn. "And?" Sango pressed. "He still loves her. I don't think he will ever love me the way he loves Kikyo." She said and sighed sadly. "How did you two approach the conversation?" I asked. "I asked him what his feelings for Kikyo were and I asked him to be honest with me." She said and I nodded. "Did you ask how he felt about you?" I asked her. "He said I'm the dumb human girl from the future who shattered the jewel." She said and chuckled dryly. My hand stopped chopping the onions and I felt a fire of anger course through me. "How dare he." I said. "It's OK. As long as he is happy I can be happy." She said and smiled sadly at me. I sighed and continued to finish chopping the onions. 

                 As I sat next to Sesshomaru he smirked. I gave death glares to Inuyasha who was confused but ate anyhow. As I made Sesshomaru a bowl and gave it to him his hand found its way  inside the bottom of the kimono where he made little circles on my thigh. Hs touch set fire to my skin and it was hard not to make any noise. I felt my face heat up and I was sure it was red. "Big Sister, this is good." Rin said from across the table. She was sitting between Inuyasha and Kagome. "Well I'm sure it is due to the spices Kagome brought from her world." I said and smiled at her. I was surprised at how collected my voice sounded due to the fact that Sessho,aru's hand went higher. "Luna, are you OK? Your face is pretty red." Sango pointed out. "I'm fine. Just added too much spice in my bowl." I said as I took another sip of the broth. 

               After breakfast we went to the Gardens where Aku and Au-Ung were playing. "Hello you two." I said and smiled as they turned to greet all of us. "Goddess Luna, I have sent for the maids to return. I will lead them here tomorrow. They are excited to be of service again." Aku informed me. I nodded. "Thank you Aku." I said and smiled as he returned to playing. "This is a beautiful Garden." Sango admired as she ran her finger over the petal of a Lily. "Yes, it is." I said and smiled. Rin ran up to me and I picked her up. Sesshomaru wrapped his arm around m waist. He wouldn't do anything while I was holding Rin, I knew he wouldn't. "You guys looks so much like a happy family." Kagome gushed as Sesshomaru placed a kiss atop my head. I smiled and imagined having little Sesshomaru's running around the Garden and a daughter playing with Rin. I found myself smiling and so was Sesshomaru. 

                 "We need to kill Naraku and everything will be perfect." I said. "Why not just...stay here and live a happy life? We can go take care of Naraku while you guys stay here and build a family and live happily." Inuyasha said. "Because, I will be the one to kill Naraku or I will die trying. For everything he has done to me, everything he took away, and mostly for my sister Yuki. She deserves to be avenged. She did nothing to him and the knowledge that he only ever viewed her as a tool he was going to kill to get me infuriates me. I will be the one to take his life. And he will suffer." I said, trying to stay calm.
