Chapter 3



Momiji

"Oh hell no Kyo has gone to far, marriage? With Tohru?!" I yelled pacing around my room back and forth. Haru just sat there watching me while Rin kept eating some Red Vines. I could feel my face boiling up just the thought of: "You may now kiss the bride." Great now I was going to have to work on that plan ASAP. Gr I was mad.

"Momiji calm yourself. There are far prettier girls in the world other than Tohru, but for the record don't look at Rin she's mine," Haru stated.

"There is no one better than Tohru!" I yelled again my voicing reaching new limits. I slammed my fists on the table showing my anger.

"Unless..." I said as my mind raced at something I know could not possibly fail: "Does any one object to this marriage if so speak now or forever hold your peace." Haru and Rin looked at each other confused.  Yeah, duh Momiji! I thought as I pulled on my coat. Then beginning to walk out of the house.

"Where are you going?" Rin asked, finally she stopped eating.

"I have some business to attend to." I finished smiling before walking off.

The top half is a bit of a spoiler but I think it is about time some action comes into play. I have gotten a nice comment from the last chapter and I am in shock of how many peps read this! I am so happy! Who knew Fruits Basket is this popular? I love Animes so that is kind of why I am still obsessed with dreaming and writing.

OK this chapter seems a little bit extreme but when you think about it Momiji is madly in love so he kind of is acting weird to bad we can't get in his head all the time...  Well now to the rest of the chapter! Kyo

Tohru stood at the front porch gazing at the snow falling down. We had just finished building it recently. I shook my head smiling knowingly at Tohru. I came behind her, my hands wrapped around her waist as I pulled her toward me. I loved the peachy smell only Tohru has. Tohru laughed, I smiled then she turned to me biting her lip.

"Kyo I am nervous; I mean we will get married soon and I am just so worried and wondering! I love you! I am also not sure if I am ready," She blurted out.

"Shh. Its OK we'll take it slowly, step by step." I told her softly. She smiled before she gave me a kiss on the cheek. I sighed though unsure to what was to happen. She quickly got out of my grasp as she ran down to the porch picking up some snow.

She turned the clump into a ball before throwing it at me. She laughed, smiling too. I smiled too quickly running to the snow banks grabbing some snow then throwing it at her. We both started laughing playing with each other throwing snowballs.

"Hey Kyo grow up will ya, is that how you treat your fiance?" A familiar voice said coming from the surrounding woods. Tohru and I instantly stopped laughing, Tohru ran to me worried. I held her in my arms.

"Who is there?" I asked how dare he state I am immature.

"Why hello Tohru, Kyo don't remember Momiji now do you?" Momiji said coming out from the trees, his face looked dark filled with anger and his hands  in a fist.

"Momiji?" Tohru asked not believing what she has heard.

"Why don't you leave Kyo and spend your time with a real man who will forever make you happy?" Momiji challenged. His expression changed to a warm friendly look.

"Momiji? why are you doing this?" I asked.

"About time I get what is rightfully mine back, eh Kyo?" He was really pushing it.

"Shame you went with the cat since he does have a bad reputation and what not." I could not take this; releasing my Tohru I sprang in front of Momiji ready to fight.

"Eh? Momiji challenging me to fight now are you? Tohru is her own person and lives me. We love each other and no way am I giving her up to you!" I shouted. Tohru came in between us.

"Stop Momiji what happened to you? Can't you see how happy Kyo and I are? Please stop I can't stand fights," Tohru said her eyes filled with tears, her face panicked with fear.

Momiji backed away his blond hair covering his eyes. I stood taller eyeing him for any moves.

"Fine... Tohru if, if that is how you feel I will let this time fly by-" Momiji said looking up straight at her eyes. Tohru looked shocked then gasped. Guess she did not know he had feelings for her, I mean Tohru is beautiful.

"But it does not mean I won't come back," He finished walking away as the snowy wind seemed to make the effect that he disappeared in seconds.

I hugged Tohru to my chest knowing she would cry any time soon.

"What happened?" Was all she said.

Rin

"You know I am worried about him, Momiji I mean he seems tense and evil recently," I said as Momiji faded away, walking somewhere who knows where.

"Perhaps it is his love for Tohru or he just is still in shock of being free from the Zodiac curse?" Haru replied shrugging. I love it when he shrugges, showing off his muscle. Still I was worried  about Momiji, he seems like Haru when he is  "Black Haru."

Momiji is usually a kind spirit and loves everyone until he changed sometime agi. Something happened. While in my deep thought, Haru stood up before walking towards me, hugging my waist and planting kisses on my neck. I really love Haru but now was not the time to be lovey dove.

"Haru." I said releasing from his bear hug.

"Think about Momiji." I said trying to stop Haru from side tracking.

"Alright-"he sighed wishing to kiss me more, trust me I can tell.

"I'll see what I can do." Just as Haru pulled on his jacket The door opened as I saw Momiji walk in.

"Are you ok, what happened?" I asked looking at the shivering boy. Haru took off his coat before placing it on Momiji.

"I went to see her. Tohru still loves Kyo." I frowned not because Momiji despises Kyo, this began recently, but actually going to their house.

"Why?" Haru asked. Momiji stared at the warm fire place across the room.

"I went to have a chat," He said not to dare meet our gazes. He swallowed then said,"She loves him and only him."

"Momiji-"I tried but he cut me off.

"Don't Momiji me! I have lost the one I love. Now it is war I must get her back!" He shouted before he started to cry. I tried to see comforting to him but he defiantly has a broken heart. Oh Momiji what can we do?
