Have you ever felt that awful moment when you tell your friend the o' so bad news and they just told you something wonderful or something meaningful to them?

Think of that ten time worst. Plus the fact that person is two feet away from you in a hospital bed.

It was utter silence. I was worried. What was going to happen. Since these strange behaviors Momiji has been having it was hard to tell what would happen next.

"I-I-I'm so sorry I thought you knew!" I blurted out apologizing to Momiji. Momiji looked down at his paw/ hands. Then his face turned dark as he looked towards me. His eyes darker than black . W-what have I done?

His face hardened as his hair turned dark as ash. A voice called to him and I felt a wind of whispers pass me.

I screamed; as I fell into darkness.

Momiji

It was peaceful, I awaited her answer as she sat in front of me. She then blurted out something I did not expect. It became quiet. My eyes widened. Then I felt rage. Pure rage- why? Why me? I felt an overwhelming darkness come over me. Don't fight it Momiji! Be calm.

I listened and it was my mistake. I looked at Tohru's horrified face before she screamed.

It was white. Again.

"Momiji..." A soft whisper purred in my ears. I looked around confused. I saw a small cabin alone in the white space. Where am I?

"Come Momiji- there is much to tell." The voice said; it sounded feminine. I walked over to the cabin feeling light. The cabin was really a mansion- gold drapes hanging from the walls, large windows displaying the white outdoors. A ruby red staircase going up with jewels encrusted on the railing popped out as a figure stood on top watching me.

"Who are you?" I asked the woman in a white cloak.

"That has of no importance- come let us begin with what you must do. Your destiny." She explained extending her arm to me as I held it unaware of where we are going.

Kyo

Tohru's scream echoed in my ears. I raced past the doctor bolting the door off staring into the room. Momiji sat asleep with his blond hair and fur on his hands. Tohru was sprawled on the floor her hair in a ball of mess. I ran to her picking her up. She rubbed her head looking at me weakly.

"Take me home, Kyo, please." She pleaded before slowly sinking in my arms. I held her up as we excused ourselves and I ran, holding her in my arms, to the car. What happened?

"Thoru what happened?"

"Momiji..."

"What about him?"

"He is taken over by a force I saw it and- he isn't himself." She hesitated.

"That's it." She stated; but it sounded like she was hiding something. I wonder what...
