I closed my eyes shut tightly as I opened the book and waited for a moment to see if anything was going to happen, I soon opened my eyes and saw that nothing happened. I sighed in relief.

"...Nothing happened..."

Suddenly something fell from the book and started fluttering to the floor, but I quickly grabbed it before it reached the floor. It turned out to be a letter.

"A letter..."

I begin to read it.

"Dear Korbyn, If you are reading this, my heart weeps for you. I prayed the Jumping Eagle line had ended the day your mother nearly drowned, but despite my convictions, part of me has always feared that it wasn't the case. This is why I have left you this book. If you have awoken, Zalgo has most likely already had me murdered, which means you have much to learn & little time."

"I know this is a lot to take in, and you're likely very frightened, but this book will guide you along your way. Each chapter contains a lesson plan of sorts regarding your duty as Seer. You MUST master each skill before moving on to the next. Upon completion of all the lessons, I believe you'll be ready to step up and take my place. Along with the book, I have left you the key to a safety deposit box. Get the contents immediately. No doubt Zalgo is already searching for them."

"Trust no one but the SlenderMan. My suspicion was correct. Mutiny is afoot in the council. Do as he says. He'll know what to do next. I must go now child. I hear footsteps approaching. If this is truly farewell, know that I truly do love you. I know I was hard on you, but I needed to make sure you grew up strong. I know you'll make me proud."

"I'll love you always, Grandmother Fala."

Tears begin to form as I read the letter and could feel my heart begin to break, it's so hard trying to take it all in. I whispered to myself.

"...Grandma..."

I clenched the letter tightly in my hand. Suddenly I feel Masky put his hand on my shoulder.

"Hey Korbyn, is something wrong ?"

He looks at me with concern and I begin to wipe away my tears.

"Ha Ha don't worry, just having a little party." "I, uh, wasn't expecting to hear from my Grandmother again. I had finally made peace with her passing and now it's like she's reaching out from beyond the grave..."

Out of nowhere Jeff speaks.

"Awesome." "I... Mean, I'm sorry for your loss. I'm not exactly good with the condolences stuffUsually I'm at the other end..." "EEEH... I'm just gonna go get more food..."

"...Uh... That was pleasantly out of character for him..."

Masky soon gives a explanation for Jeff's out of character.

"...Well the thing is... Jeff gets kind of weird when the subject of familial death is brought up. As much as he denies it, I think he still feels guilt from his past..."

"What do you mean ?"

"...I won't go into much detail, as it's really not my place to tell you this, but from what I gather, Jeff lost his family when he was just a child..." "To be more precise... He murdered them."

I was shocked to hear that Jeff killed his own family.

"He... What ?! ...His own ?!"

"Yes and quite brutally too. That's why you need to be careful Korbyn." "It's probably hard for you to  understand given the very unusual circumstances in which you were introduced... But you must not forget that first and foremost, Jeff is a killer." "...All of us are..." "You HAVE to remember that. No matter how comfortable you may become around us, you should never make the mistake of fully letting your guard down... It's in our nature to do terrible things..."

"...Even you ?...Masky... Have you killed before ?"

"...We're not talking about me right now... I was simply making sure you understood." "Besides, we haven't got time to chit chat. Don't you need to do something with that key ?"

I turn and look at the key that's taped on to the inside of the front cover of the book.

"...Right..." "I have a sinking feeling... That this key is going to lead to a lot more trouble..."

"That is likely true. But I assure you that whatever trouble may result from what Fala left you is beyond a doubt less dangerous than attempting to reach out to Locklear."

"Yeah... I guess you've got a point." "But still... I can't help wondering about him... Is he REALLY such a bad guy ?" "From what I've come to understand so far, the Seers are supposed to be "Good Guys". Obviously, at some point he messed up, seeing how he was stripped of his title and whatnot." "But doesn't it feel like everyone's well, over-reacting, just a little ?"

A man strapped onto to surgical chair with darkness and he is calling out.

"H-Hello? Where am I?! What's going on?!"

Suddenly a person appears, wearing a dark burgundy red cloak with hood on, black pants with black boots. Black rimmed, black lensed googles and a plague doctor mask with a black substance dripping from the eyes and down to the beak, one hand is wearing a black glove with razor sharp claws on it, black matted hair underneath the hood.

"Ahhhhhh good morning Mr. Smith. Right on time for your appointment I see. Good good !"

"What are you talking about?! Our business together is DONE."

The person walks over to the man.

"Too true my clever friend ! Our business has indeed concluded. But the collection of my dues, you see, has only just begun !" "Oh ! But don't you worry ! This won't hurt a bit !"

"W-What? This isn't what we agreed on!"

"I hate to contradict you my boy but you really should have paid closer mind to the fine print... Oh... And while we're being honest here, I'll admit I lied... This will be beyond excruciating..."

The person takes off their mask, revealing a young early 20's man, long matted black hair and normal light skin tone. One normal blue eye on the left and it's glowing, one black pupil eye on the right with a blue iris and it's also glowing. Small black veins from the right eye and surrounding it.

He has a insane look on his face and his tongue sticking out through his teeth, talks to himself.

"No Korbyn, you really don't understand..."
