As we sit down and start dining on our first course, drinks are served. We all quietly take a sip. All of a sudden,Felix's face contorts into an ugly form. He starts to cough up a red liquid. Blood. The red liquid flows from his mouth. He falls to the table, his lips a visible blue. I look at his slumped over limp body. Everyone looks at his body, simply shocked. Riley then screams. Which leads to a chorus of screams from the table. "Shut up!" I yell causing everyone to fall into silence. "Look,Felix is dead. There's no reason for screaming now. It's time to figure out whether this was purposeful or whether it was accidental. Everyone stop screaming okay?" I say calmly. "Okay." Matt says standing up with me looking at me with a determined look on his face. Everyone calms down and we go over to examine Felix's body. Matt, being a medical student is the first to look. He looks at his drink, his mouth, and his throat. Matt clears his throat before speaking. "This looks like it was most likely.....a murder." He says a glint of fear in his eyes. Everyone at the table gasps. "There was a bit of some sort of chemical that caused the bleeding to start inside his throat. He choked on his own blood. If he wasn't to die from that,he would've died anyways from blood loss" Matt says. I sigh. "So Felix was dead either way?" I ask even though I know the answer. He simply nods. I sigh. Twisting a part of my hair,I say "Well I think it's time we all go home." I say. "Please no! I've been lonely ever since Haden's unexpected death!" Thomas begs. "Whatever" Ray says being her usual self. She picks up some flowers from the center piece and quietly places them next to Felix's body and then runs back upstairs. I sigh. "I guess we're staying!" I say irritated and rushing upstairs. Everyone closely follows because I can hear their footsteps behind me. I sit on my bed throwing one of the pillows at the wall. "Woah Lynn, what's wrong?" Matt asks sitting on my bed. I can feel a tear slip from my eye. "I don't want to die..." I say. "Hey it's okay. I don't want to die either. It's okay." He says enrapturing me in a warm hug. "It's okay" he whispers into my ear.
