"ANOTHER ONE?!" Thomas yells. Lynn cries into my shoulder. "Yes,another murder." I say. "Look Matt,we need to know the whole thing..." Ray says. She told us earlier that we need to tell everyone we're a couple. She somehow found out. I sigh. I guess it's time. "Ok well there is one more thing...the reason Lynn chose me and not Riley...." I start to say. Lynn sniffles and takes her face off my shoulder. She grabs my hand. "We are a couple now. Sorry we didn't tell you before" I say. Everyone in the room gasps at the sudden announcement. Everyone except Ray. She just stares off into the distance. She must be distracted by something.

I hold onto Matt's rough hand tightly. Our hands fit together perfectly. Everyone is surprised at this sudden thing that we start to get questions. Lots. Too many. Just like at the police station. Where they questioned me about Haden's death. I let go of Matt's hands and cover my ears closing my eyes tightly. "Shut up!" I hear Matt yell at everyone. Everyone in the room goes quiet. I slowly take my hands off my ears and open my eyes. I take Matt's hand again. I rest my head on his shoulder tired. "WATCH OUT!" Ray yells and runs in front of me. A knife hits her chest. I gasp as her body goes limp and hits the floor. I collapse next to her body and grab her hand. "Ray?" I ask. "Lynn?" She says. "GET SOME BANDAGES!!" I cry out to Thomas. He runs off to go get some. "RAY,STAY WITH ME!" I yell at her desperately. Dash literally dashes over to us and holds Ray's other hand. "Sis? Come on,don't leave me. Please?" Dash begs crying. "Survive. Please. Don't make me lose my life for nothing." Ray smiles at me,her teeth red with blood. "First time I've seen you smile." I say crying. "Yeah,it's different.." Ray says starting to close her eyes. "NO RAY! DONT LEAVE ME!" Dash sobs. Thomas rushes in with bandages. Matt quickly hops down and being the med student he is,bandages her wound. "Lynn?" She asks. "Yeah?" I ask crying. "Am I gonna live?" She asks. I look towards Matt. He shrugs. That means probably not. He's tried teaching me his body language in our alone time. "Yeah.." I say lying. Ray chuckles sputtering out blood onto me and Dash. "Looking towards the bright side,even towards the end" Ray says. "Don't call it the end! It can't be the end!" Dash says. "But it is....." Ray says. I hear Matt murmur something under his breath. Thomas grumbles something. "No. It's not. " I say determined that it won't end like this. I pick her up with Dash's help and carry her to her room. I put her in her bed. Me and Dash watch her till she falls asleep. We feel her pulse. Still good. We leave her there. Matt goes to watch her all night. I can only hope she lives.
