"Thank you so much for inviting me!" Lynn says as she hugs me. "No problem! You are my best friend after all!" I say letting her inside. It was quite hot outside anyways. "Haden,come on!" Lynn says running up to my room. Giggling,I follow her. We talk a little bit then I hear Mike downstairs. We both squeal hearing him. I've had a crush on him since 6th grade. Lynn knew this because she was my best friend. "Haden! Lynn! Get down here and say hi to Mike!" My older brother,Thomas says. Lynn quickly gets up and grabs my hand picking me up too. She runs downstairs with me rushing after her. "Lynn,Haden,Hi!" Mike says once we are back on the first story."Hi!" Lynn exclaims happily. "H-Hi M-Mike..." I say nervously looking down to my feet,blushing a deep red. Soon,everyone else arrives. Thomas comes up to me right before dinner and says "You might want to not make it as obvious that you like Mike". "You know?!?" I exclaim surprised. "Yes,as I said,you make it obvious!" He laughs. I blush a light pink. Thomas and I quickly walk into the dining room as our first meal is served. I sit down next to Lynn and my Thomas' girlfriend,Bonnie. We laugh and talk all evening. Until,Thomas says something. "Mike! My man! At least,you have Haden who actually crushes on you!" He says laughing. Everyone at the table looks toward me. "Thomas!" I whine. Everyone laughs at me. I feel a year roll down my cheek. I wasn't going to let people see me cry. I quickly get up and run. The forest blossoms around me. I keep running. Until I start falling. I hear Lynn cry my name out. She must've been following me. I see the ledge where I fell from. I see the tears from my eyes fly past me in slow motion. I hear myself scream. I feel myself cry out to Lynn for help. By it's too late. I've fallen too far. I see my life flash before my eyes. Then I scream once more. A scream that I know will be my last.
