The crowd went wild as we did our final bow.
"Thanks so much for being here, guys! Goodnight!" I shouted and we all ran off the stage. We were pretty much panting!
"THAT WAS SO FULL OF AWESOMENESS!!" Toby shouted and we all cheered in agreement.
"It totally was!" Braiden said, grinning.
"Alright boys, celebrate later. You have Meet and Greet in half an hour so go get ready," one of the crew members said and that is what we did. Our parents had brought spare clothes for us and we headed to the dressing rooms to change and freshen up. I would be lying if I said that we weren't tired but the adrenaline rush in us had gone sky high, all thanks to the GREAT crowd. We couldn't stop talking, or chattereing to be precise, and we highly resembled the groups of girls that would be joining us for Meet and Greet. I always loved this session! You got to meet all these cool (and sometimes hot) girls and chat with them. Riley, Toby and I reached the dressing room we were sharing and Braiden and Thomas went next door to theirs. After changing out of our sweaty clothes and into the dry ones, we went to hair and make-up (can't believe I just said that!) and the hairdresser fixed our hair and all.
After that, we were directed to the place where Meet and Greet was going to take place. We took our seats as girls started to file in. Then began the long hours of smiling for pictures, giving high fives, signing autographs and BYE merchandise (still getting used to the fact that we have our own MERCHANDISE for goodness' sake!) and the whole mumbo jumbo! But what was really cool was that there were many really awesome guys, too! After all that happened, we went to the VIP section where stood a few more thousand girls waiting to meet us. I took in a deep breath and smiled, walking into the area.
"Hey, guys!" Riley said and got many 'Hey's, 'Hi's and 'Hello's in return.
"You guys ready for your VIP tour of this place?" Thomas asked and got many squeals in return which obviously meant yes. We grinned at each other.
"Well, lets get moving, shall we?" Toby said and we walked out of the VIP section. We felt like those guides you have at the museums that take you around the place. You know how in field trips our teachers would tell us to listen close when the guides would be telling us about some artefact and that she would take a test on it? Well, we literally had the exactly same feeling! The girls were listening in to what we said as if their lives depended upon it! We took them through all the different rooms backstage and spend some time with them in our dressing rooms, playing video games and just talking in general. They were a great bunch, to be very honest. Not too squeaking or clingy. I grinned at the thought. We got to the centre of the backstage area and everyone dispersed. Girls roamed around the place in bunches or indivdually and kept peeking at the stage from backstage, staring at it in awe.
Toby, Braiden and I were talking to a bunch of girls wearing our merchandise and ending up arguing about something when...
"YO MCDONOUGH! LIGHTEN UP!!" I froze and felt as though all the air had suddenly been sucked out of me. That voice... There was no way... I spun around and gasped.
