We took Jake's Challenger listening to his playlist which has all the songs that I listen to and all of the newest pop songs. We drive with the music turned up and singing along. I suck at singing so I sang quieter than the music but Jake went all out. I was shocked at how good he could sing. Made my heart melt.

"It's the next exit." I let Jake know.

"Okay" Jake says.

As we are on the off ramp Jake asks me. "Right or left?"

I look at my hands to make sure I say the right direction "Right and then straight for a while."

"Sounds good. I love your town. When I was younger I used to come here to play hockey. I love how it's not as busy as my town." I love when Jake tells me these little tidbits of information about him.

"Wish I knew you back then. I would of came out to watch your games." I say thinking how great that would of been knowing him when he was younger. "Turn left at the next road."

It's too bad that we are almost at my house. I would love to be able to spend the rest of the day with Jake. But I guess all good things come to an end. "Right at this road and my house is this one on the corner."

"Wow you have a nice house." Jake says as he pulls into the driveway.

"Yeah it's okay I guess." I say making sure I have everything I need.

"Maybe sometime I will get to see it." Jake says as I open up the car door.

"We'll see" I smile.

Jake gets out of the car. "Kelsey, I mean it. I do really want to see you again. Let me put my number in your phone."

I had him my phone. As soon as he hands my phone back to me his phone dings. I look at my screen and he texted himself which makes me smile.

"I guess I will see you again sometime?" I say with my smile getting bigger.

"Yes you will" Jake says giving me a hug. "See you later Kelsey"

"Bye Jake" I wave at him and he waves back.

I watch Jake drive away and my smile slowly fades. As the car turns around the corner out of sight I go into the house. I am greeted by my mom with the biggest hug that she has ever given me and tears streaming down her face.

"Oh Kelsey" mom cries "You have no idea how glad that you are home."

Tears stain my face. I hold on to my mom not wanting to let her go. "I'm happy to be home to. It was scary until this morning. Jake made me breakfast. He is really nice mom."

Mom wipes the tears from my face "He didn't hurt you did he?"

"No mom he didn't."

"Good, because if he did he wouldn't know what would be coming for him." Mom said seriously.

"He actually is Jake Virtanen. He plays hockey for the Vancouver Canucks" I say with a slight smile.

"What! Are you kidding me! Like the actual guy who plays hockey for the Canucks! Wait until you dad hears about this." Mom says with excitement.

"Of all people to help me out last night I can't believe it was him. He was so sweet to me to."

"When are you going to see him again?" mom's eyes are gleaming with joy.

The last few boyfriends that I had she did not approve of. She always thought that Mason was a jerk and didn't have any respect for anyone but himself. I didn't think that he was until he went to Hawaii and cheated on me.

I am pretty sure that Carter still thinks that we are still dating. I have had to change my number three times because he continues to text and call me. If I ever find out who keeps giving him my new number all the time, they better be watching their back.

Jesse was really sweet. I'm still heartbroken over him. It ended so suddenly that I still don't know what happen between us. I can't talk about him because my heart aches for him.

"I don't know mom. I probably won't see him again. He can be with anyone he wants. Why would he choose me?" I say feeling sad.

"Aww, honey" mom pulls me into a hug "don't say that."

"Well mom. It's true. I really don't believe that I will see him again."

Mom makes me a cup of tea. I watch my cup changes colour as the hot water enters it. I keep going over everything that has happened in my head from the last twelve hours.

I give Raquel a call knowing that she wants to know every detail.

"So when are we going to a Canucks game?" Is the first thing Raquel asked after I finished telling her everything.

"I don't know. It's not like I'm going to see him again" my smile disappeared.

"You know that phone is going to be ringing soon and Jake will be like 'please Kelsey, I need to see your beautiful face again, feel your silky hair, and kiss those soft lips.' hahaha" Raquel jokes but I just glare at her. "Okay, all jokes aside, I really do believe that he will call you. Trust me."

"I guess time will tell" I say hoping that Raquel is right.
