John's POV

I'm not rude, nor am I mean. Sure, he's new around here, but that doesn't give him the right to touch my stuff. "What's your name, anyway?" I asked as I sat down on my bed. "Oh...um...Al-alexander H-hamilton." Alexander seemed to stutter over his words. Maybe I scared him. He could just be nervous. Whatever, I really don't care.

It seemed only fitting for me to introduce myself. "Well, I'm-" "John!" Alexander interjected then quickly covered his mouth. " 'M sorry...Your...uh...your friend P-peggy already told me about you." He said quietly and looked down. I think I did scare this kid.

"Look, kid-" Alexander cut me off again. "I-I'm not a k-kid." I sighed and nodded. "Look, Alexander, I guess I'm sorry for snapping at you." I muttered and glanced at Alexander. He simply nodded and laid back on the bed.

Wait a minute? Is he blushing? My eyes are probably just playing tricks on me. I have standards and something tells me he isn't going to meet them. I rolled my eyes and went towards the "kitchen".

"Damn it!" I heard Alexander yell. I glanced at him and he immediately shrunk back. "S-sorry, I d...didn't mean t-to shout..." He muttered. I sighed and nodded. "What's wrong?" Alexander sat up straight. "I l-left my notebook at h-home." He stuttered.

I rolled my eyes. "Just call your parents and tell them to send it here." Alexander flinched and let out a shaky sigh. "I...I don't...they're...I..." He stumbled over his words and his voice cracked.

My eyes softened and I walked over to Alexander's bed. I sat down on his bed and glanced at him. "I'm sorry." I said quietly. Alexander cleared his throat. "You didn't know. It's alright." He looked back at me and flashed a smile.

I haven't seen his smile. Then again, he's been too terrified to even talk let alone smile. Still, there's something about that smile. It was bright, it was lively, it was...beautiful. No, not again. I'm not falling for my roomate. Besides, he's so timid. To timid for me.

I cleared my throat and went to sit on my bed. "So, where are you from?" I asked after a while. "Nevis." He answered simply. I nodded. That explains a lot, he seemed out of place when he first arrived. I studied his features and noticed a few things I didn't notice before.

He had dark brown eyes, they were actually quite lovely. He had bags under his eyes, I wonder how much this kid sleeps. He had some beautiful, long hair. I also noticed that I might have crush on him...shit.
