Chapter two

CIELS POV

Sebastian brought me a letter from the Queen instructing me to suspect the new circus in town, Noah's Ark Circus.
" Apparently lots of children have been reported missing and the Queen suspects this circus has something to do with it, she even gave us tickets"

" I shall get the carriage ready my lord" Sebastian bowed and left the room. A circus, I've never been I wonder what it's like. I got my coat and got into the carriage with Sebastian, as he drove Sebastian smiled.
" What's so amusing?" I asked
" Oh nothing, I thought it was funny that as we get sent to London during Winter to go see a circus for the Queen".

I rolled my eyes and looked out the window, it was getting colder, winter was almost upon us. I sighed as the carriage came to a stop.
" Young master we are here" Sebastian said opening the door and stepping out, he held his hand out and helped me down from the carriage. We walked inside, took our seats and waited for the night to begin.

As it started a bunch of the acts came out to welcome us, the man in charge was called Joker, he looked like a doll. I looked at the others when my eye landed on a beautiful girl standing beside Joker. She looked around my age, I wonder how she came to be part of this circus. The first few acts bored me terribly, a guy throwing knives, another spitting fire, another was twins doing acrobats together.

I sighed as Joker welcomed out the next act, I looked in surprise as it was the girl from before. So her name is (y/n) what a pretty name. I thought to myself.
I looked up at her doing her acrobats, she was flexible it made me blush anytime I saw her underwear from under her dress. Sebastian smirked at me and I turned away in frustration at him.

She bowed and disappeared as the next act came out. It was a girl that went by the name of Beast with a tiger. " A tiger what are they going to do next pull a rabbit from a hat" I whispered annoyed. I looked at Sebastian to see him look hypnotised, they called for a volunteer as Sebastian stood up and walked towards them.

" Bloody demon" I cursed
" Now if you would please lie down and we ca-" Joker stopped mid-sentence as Sebastian kneeled in front of the tiger.
" Oh for gods sake Sebastian, you idiot!" I shouted.
Then the tiger bit his head as I sighed.
' Why me?' I thought.

Sebastian sat back down beside me and the next act was brought on. It was her again, expect she wore a white dress. She looks so perfect. I blushed again as I saw her underwear but ignored it and watched her perform, then there was a crash from outside. I looked towards the tent entrance then back to (y/n) to see her falling.

" Sebastian catch her!" I yelled
Sebastian obeyed and I ran after him as he caught the girl. She looks so beautiful up close. After a little argument with the circus acts, we headed back to the house in London.
" What should we do how young master?"

" We need to get into that circus and look through their tents for any clues that they may have about the missing children"
" How should we do that?"
" We're going to join the circus" I said seriously
Sebastian chuckled
" What's so funny?" I asked irritated

" My lord, are you joining the circus for the case or for that girl?" He teased
" For the case obviously!! What do you take me for really!?"
" Please calm down my lord, I didn't mean anything by it, I thought that might be the case as you would not stop staring at her"
I blushed a little and looked away.
" Especially when her panties were on show"

" How dare you!" I shouted
" Please my lord it was my mistake" he smirked
" Let's just go join the circus already".
Sebastian changed me into brown short trousers, a white shirt with patches on it, a brown vest, a white eye patch and a grey hat as we made our way back to the circus.

When we got there we were greeted by (y/n) and I smiled.
" Excuse me?" Sebastian called
" Oh yes how may I help you" her voice was so sweet
" My friend and I would like to join the circus" Sebastian said
" Oh your the man from earlier, are you alright that bite looked pretty bad" she said as she stroked Sebastian's head.

I got a little jealous and growled a little.
" I assure you my lady I am perfectly fine"
" Well if you would like to join the circus you would have to talk to Joker. Please follow me " she said as she walked into the main tent.
" Joker I found some new recruits" she smiled

" What?! " he said as he turned to see us.
" Yes you see the boy and I quit our jobs working with that annoying noble Phantomhive so we decided to ask you" I growled at Sebastian as he smirked at me.
" Okey dokey you just need to pass the tests and you'll a be in".

We walked towards the tight rope
" Ok walk it little one" Joker smiled at me, I looked at him taken back and nodded. I climbed up and wobbled a little as I walked. I felt myself about to fall when stones hit me from all directions keeping me up. I walked as fast as I could towards the end of the tight rope and climbed down out of breath.

" Excelent, now throw daggers" he smiled and walked me towards a man with small knives in his hands.
" Dagger give this boy your knives and let's see if he has a talent for it"
" Yes Joker" he said as he handed me the knives.
I threw the first knife and it hit the ground. I bit my lip and threw another and it hit right on the bullseye one after another.

" Wow your quite a talented kid"
" Alright your in" he smiled
I walked over to Sebastian and glared at him, you'll pay for this later I mounted at him as he chuckled.
" Come meet everyone" Joker said as he grabbed my hand and we followed him to the tents.
" Everyone meet our new recruits"

Joker held up Sebastian's arm
" This is Black"
He held up my arm
" And this is Smile".
