You guys know I like the "He's a little too old for me but I still love him" YAOIs, right?

No?

Well, now you do. :D

"I'm getting rather sick of it, Jasper."

"Sick of what?" I squeaked, my nervousness rising as he put his blood red eyes on me.

"Sick of you," he mumbled, making my heart drop. He was sick of me? Already? But I thought I'd done everything he'd wanted me to... "Sick of the risks I'm taking to be with you," he added in, looking a bit flushed with anxiety.

"Risks?" I whispered, by breath hitching. What kind of risks was he talking about? Why hadn't he informed me that being with me would make him go through such troubles?

"Yes, don't you understand that I-" He noticed my horrified expression and shut up quickly. "Nevermind." He stated coldly, looking away from me.

"What risks?" I asked again, this time a bit louder. Why wasn't he telling me? Were they that bad that he realized if he said anything to me I'd have a mental breakdown? I'd cry? Why couldn't he just tell the truth and deal with me afterwards?! I wanted to know, and badly.

"I said nevermind." He stated, his red eyes once again landing on me. He glared, making my heart pound with excitement and fear. He was angry at me, and I knew it, but oh...he was so handsome when he was angry.

"But I-"

"No buts, Jasper, you're annoying me, and if you don't stop asking questions-" He reached out towards me, his hand caressing my cheek in a sweet, soft gesture, but in an instant, he dug his clawed finger into my cheek, causing blood to swell up in my new wound. He let his claw drag down my cheek, and gingerly pulled away, an amused expression on his face. "-I'll have to make you stop. And you don't want that, do you?"

I shivered, taking a step back. "I-I may...actually..." I murmured. He tilted his head to the side, a smirk making its way onto his lips.

"And that," he stated softly, placing his hand under my chin as he closed the space between us in an instant, kissing me. He pulled back, his smirk replaced with a small smile. "-Is why I like you, kid."

I felt my face heat up as I looked down at my feet, smiling happily. He kissed my forehead, messing up my hair right after. "I have to go to work," he stated, using the word "work" as though it were a foreign word he wasn't very familiar with. I gave him a thumbs up, and nodded.

"Alrighty, I'll probably go back upstairs," I said, pointing behind me, feeling a lot less nervous now that he wasn't angry anymore. "Your son's up there waiting for me." He nodded, shoving his hands into his pockets as he leaned back a bit, looking up the stairs as if trying to make sure no one was watching us from up there.

"Yeah.." He cleared his throat, squinting his eyes as he continued to look up the stairs. "Tell the little fuck I'll be at Walmart."

I smiled a bit, knowing very well that he wasn't going to Walmart. Walmart was the code word for Hell, and since only a select few people knew about what truly went on in the world around them, Hell wasn't a place you could just casually mention you were going to. I still wasn't quite sure why he said it around me, but I shrugged it off. Maybe he was worried that if he admitted where he was truly going, I'd freak out or something.

I couldn't help but snort at the thought. Like he'd ever be worried about something involving me. "I'll be sure to! Have a goodnight, Sir." I stated, standing up on my tiptoes to give him one last kiss goodbye. He seemed a bit alarmed, but kissed me back hungrily, wrapping his arms around my waist and pulling my small body against his. He broke off the kiss, scratching the back of his head as his ink black hair fell into his eyes.
