Despair

~Garroth's P.O.V~

I woken up to the sound of frantic foot steps. And something hitting me hard. "DAD! MOM IS GONE!" i heard Malichi's frantic voice say. I immediately shot up and saw Levin Looking around with Malichi. I myself shot out of bed and went around the house looking around. "Malichi, Levin go tell one of the guards at the village ill look here for any clues" I said. Both nodded leaving the house as i went down to the basement. Nothing. I looked in her kids rooms. nothing. I went back to where we slept and frantically threw everything out of place. Something however did come out. A letter. I opened it slightly and began to read it.

~Dear Garroth, Levin, and Malichi,

I am very sorry but i couldn't risk you suffering like many others. That letter that you gave me Garroth was a threat...a threat to go back home or if not you and the kids would be at the hands of death. I can't risk you especially kids. I'm very sorry it had to be this way. I just, can't live with the guilt of the pain that will come to you and the kids if i stay. I already lost friends, family, and loved ones i can't lose more. By the time you read this my wedding would have started again. I'm so sorry it had to be this way but i can't change this....as much as i would love to. Know that i will always love you even if i end up married to someone i don't want to. I will always be by you and i'm sorry i made stupid promises that i couldn't keep but i can't risk you or anyone else in this village come to an end. I'm very sorry Garroth....i will always love you~

Tears began to fall from my eyes. She left....And yet she didn't tell me this was in her mind. I felt a stinging pain hit me. I sat down on the bed looking at the floor. So this is what a heart break feels like? I never thought i would get here. To be in love with someone and then to have them leave....is that how Azura felt like (was that her name? That guard woman who liked Garroth) It felt awful no denying that. I ran my hand through my hair just thinking. Where could she be? But not to far ahead i saw a dim light of purple along with gold in the edges. I looked and saw an image display. It was a map. It had a little marker that said Phoenix drop. The other marker was a little blurry to make out but beside it was Aphmau's name. I took a good look at it and noticed it was a map that lead from Phoenix drop to where Aphmau was. It then faded back into Aphmau's bracelet. Was Aphmau contacting me? But she left....left me here. Alone and heartbroken. She came into my life and left leaving me broken and weak. "Garroth we-" i heard my friend's voice say. Laurence. he looked at me knowing something was wrong as more tears fell from my eyes. "What- let me see that" he said ripping the paper away from my hand. I heard a gasp as he dropped the paper on the floor landing in front of me. Levin and Malichi came in shortly after and came to my side. I took a look at them. It's depressing knowing that Aphmau left. It's even more depressing knowing that they don't have a mother. It's depressing knowing that i will take care of them...without the love of my life....Something inside me was yelling at me to after her to go and see her. No matter what happens that i should go by her side when she needs me the most....But my heart was wounded and in dispair.....
