Awoken at last

~Apmau's P.O.V~
I was running now to the mines and as i looked around i saw a man there with Sandy blind hair and blue teal eyes. This couldn't be him. "G-Garroth?" i asked he looked at me and turned around. " Lord Aphmau please don't look at me i have failed" he said, in a sad tone. I walked so he can face me. I thought he was much older but no he was around my age from what i could see. " Garroth you didn't fail anyone" i said. Honestly this wasn't his fault, it was mine. If only i had stayed none of this would have happened. If only i had agreed to the marriage this wouldn't have happened. " i failed you...i promised to protect them from harms and i failed." he said looking at the ground while tears were falling down. I cried myself too, I wanted to do that for the time but i knew i had to speak up " NO you didn't, sure people got hurt but no one died did they? You kept your promise to me and i thank you" i said and held his face up to look at me " You haven't failed me yet and i hope you never will. You kept your promise of keeping everyone safe...and even if we kept the enemy in our walls.....you still pulled through" i said letting tears roll down my eyes. His eyes widened, while his tears rolled down as well. His hands came to my cheek and wiped some of my tears away. " Lord Aphmau....please do not cry" he said, How could i not i almost lost my village. I hugged him and her hugged back after a while. " just....just know that you did not fail me or the people" i said and let go. He looked at me and put a hand on my cheek. I held his hand in place while my tears were still rolling down my cheeks. "....alright i understand" he said. I smiled at him and saw him smile back. " why did you hide your face?" i said, i honestly thought that he was about 10 years older than me around 30 or something but no he looked around my age he looked like 20 and now i was 18 so this was just something new for me." my past. it's just...i don't want anyone hurt because of me" he said and looked down, so he also had a past that could hurt people. " Garroth....if i could i would also hide myself as well...but i understand that you don't want anything to happen to the people you love and care for. Had i known all of this would have happened i would stay here. I don't expect you to tell me anything about your past not at all but believe me when i say i trust you." i said smiling at him, he smiled back and i took a few steps back. " are you going to come?" i asked, he scratched the back of his neck and nodded a no. I understood and left the cave and went around the village. I checked up on everyone and even spend time with my son but as i was Laurence came in. GREAT. " oh...you have a kid?" he said a hint of disappointment in his voice. " well you see that is why i was so far away from here. I went to scale wind to go find his mother but...she said he would be in danger with her....so i am keeping him" I said and cradled Levin next to me, Laurence sat next to me and looked at Levin. " can i hold him?" he said. I nodded and gave him Levin. He held him in his arms, Levin was so small and compared to Laurence looked so adorable. Now that i was getting a good look at Levin he looked a lot like Garroth....and i mean a lot like him
