(The next morning Mat's POV)

I can't help but smile as my brother chuckling and waving to his millions of people who crowd around to see their pharaoh departure for battle, he and Tuthmose had been in the temple of Amun-Ra when the day had been only two hours old...praying, Asetmut had told me she ended up in his bed as soon as she arrived to his chamber and of course my heart swells with happiness. I knew he would love her, Tuthmose had been exhausted but excited to see his father's departure but as all my brothers children they carry a frown to see their father go.

General May had been standing besides Seti with his eye out amongst the people, he enjoyed their cheers and how they threw flowers onto the deck of the ship...the look in his eyes had been plain jealousy, as if he was to be pharaoh not my brother...but I ignore it and tell Lord Rameses and the guards around me to keep a close eye on May as the ship begins it's journey to The land where the Hittites had agreed to fight the Egyptian army.

Thousands of men had been on war ships that a Greek vizier had commanded to be built for the Royal army...The ships were huge and held about two hundred soldiers each with white sails that caught the breeze as a steady drumming beat had begun to play for the slaves managing the oars the ships begin to move down the Nile, The Nemes crown on my brothers head makes him look like Pharaoh Caesarion, Julius Caesars bastard son...but older since Caesarion died as a teenager...or at least that's what Octavian had said when he announced that Cleopatra was dead and there was no more heir to the throne.

I sigh bitterly and blink as my brother waves at me and Stefmera who stands besides me on the balcony...Amenhotep in her arms waving as his father begins to depart with a hawk flying above the war ships before flying down to Tuthmose's arm protected from its razer sharp claws with a thick leather arm guard...Tuthmose's Smiles widely and let's his Hawk fly once again...it swoops over Seti's head and the beautiful bird had laid on the throne as if Horus and spreads its wings as if it were Horus itself were protecting him before leaping into the air and circling around the boat seven times before landing on Tuthmose's arm guard.

Everyone had stared at the bird and back at Seti, "The gods favor him" The high priest of Amun says and so as the high priest of Horus who stand besides each other in a slightly whispered conversation about Seti and his choices...Amenhotep look towards his mother with hard eyes "where is daddy going?" He asks "To war" she says..."a place I never want you to go" she says looking down upon Tuthmose who stand below laughing and influenced by his father possibly following in his foot steps when he is crowned. The ship disappears and I leave silently with anybody noticing Asetmut follows me silently she carries a smile...she had surely fallen in love.

(Seti's POV) Six months at war

I had prayed to Amun-Ra, Horus and Isis to give me her wisdom...I stand Servants remove my robes and put on my kilts silently and shave the facial hair from my face with out cutting me...The blue crown is place upon my head and The diadem is blessed before being set into the crown over my brow and I fell their protection around me.

I slip on beautiful golden sandals and walk off the ship, general's bow to me as we reach the sandy battle field...My chariot awaits...I silently look to see the army below my own and the Hittites it was nothing...my men looked more powerful and strong ready to kill and the Hittites as well but more barbaric screaming their anger as the Hittite king smiles in his chariot...showing no fear such as myself...climb my chariot and my driver snaps the reins that make my stallions stand on their hind legs before bolting down the sandy road...As we reach the front lines I and quick to bless my men but reciting a Prayer to the gods.

The Hittite king awaits my move "you will regret your crimes" I say in Hittite from my studies...he smiles and doesn't reply after staring each other down I smile and pull my Khopesh from the side of the chariot and point it forward "Charge!!!" I shout the chariots are first as always before my food soldiers follow us into the battle field, I draw a bow and fire getting a Hittites soldier but not fully killing him...lucky I ordered my arrow tips poisoned.

Our Armies clash Hittites fall one by one and so do my men, I draw an arrow and shoot it into the violence around me...Soon my I am hit with a arrow to my side but I am fine as I hold onto the chariot "Your majesty!" My driver shouts "I'm fine keep going" I say look back at my bow that had fallen as my body jerked back from the rather hard hit to my side...I take my spear silently and swiftly bleeding from wound but of corse I do not care...I am fighting for my crown and my people.

In a hard thrust I had gotten a youthful Hittite boy who falls backwards into the dirt I see general May behind us holding my bow in his palms "your Majesty!" He shouts as he throws the bow I catch it in on hand and throw my spear toward the Hittite king who's chariot flips from the spear sticking out of it's side...I smile and Pull back my bow...I see the army...Hittites drop left and right as I draw a bow and fire it...The arrow hits the Hittite king in his giant legs that look the size of a wooden log...he groans and stares me down pulling his sword from his chariot and armor flashes as he begins to kill my men.

I grab my drivers shoulder "stop the chariot"I hiss...he pulls the reins and I jump down..."if I am wounded more then I am now...run over him" I say he nods and snaps the reins I pray to Amun-Ra and Horus to protect me as I fight Hittites and finally reach the king..."Time to die" he says his deep voice would make Mat cry if she was here...it reminds her of brother and my father's bastard Pepi and how he tries to kill me when I was nineteen to inherit father's land when he named me his heir...now I find it pointless.

We are eye to eye before he swings his sword I block it with my khopesh I had stored at my belt...The loud clash makes me nearly cry as I feel pain rattle down my arm.

The Hittite had shattered my bone!

I ignore the pain and cut his cheek, "What makes you think a little king like you can kill a King as big as me?!" He shouts swing his sword I dodge it and strike his armor that sings as my khopesh hits it, He tries to cut my throat but he misses as I fall to the ground and cut his leg making him scream at the top of his lung, He falls and Stab him on his chest pressing against the armor that begins to split as the golden blade slowly sinks into his chest he pushed me off him and my Blue crown falls off...I find a spear in the sand and he swings his sword I stab his wrist as I dodge the bloodied blade.

I stab his shoulder and he screams as he falls to his knees unable to stand again since his leg had so many wounds in it, I dodge his large hand as he tried to reach for my legs...I pin his feet to the sand..."May your gods be ashamed of you" I say as I thrust the spear into his eye...he screams but the spear doesn't go as far to get his brain...he just won't have a left eye...ever again.

I remove the spear as every soldier in the Hittite army drop their weapons and come to our feet the begin to plead with me not to kill him..."Your majesty" General May says "It is for the best" Neferneb says "we end the war and they surrender it's been six months...do you not desire to see your Family?" He says...I nod and Neferneb picks up my blue crown and brushes the Dust from it...And hands it to me..."thank you" I say he bows to me "your welcome your majesty" he says.

"Take the Hittite king prisoner" I say "we shall parade him to our people and show them how a Hittite can easily be defeated" he says smiling.
