Chapter Four

Zaney
I wake snuggled in a warm embrace, my eyes open and I see a sleeping Reigna. I snuggle closer considering she's asleep she won't know. Suddenly Reigna buries her face in my neck,"Good morning sweetheart." She says opening her sea green eyes, looking at me and I quickly push her away.
"Aww, don't be like that." She says slightly pouting.
I groan and get out of bed," Why are you in the same bed as me?" I ask her, crossing my arms.
"It's my bed and your my mate."
"Whatever."
"The full moon is tomorrow, is your birthday soon?"
I blush and shake my head no. Reigna gets up and hugs me,"Liar." She says in my ear, her breath tickling me.
"Fine. If you must know, it is today." I say and pushing her away.
"Then I'll make this one of the best birthdays. Are you hungry? Come on and I'll fix you something to eat." Reigna says grabbing my hand and pulling me downstairs into a kitchen.
"What would you like?" She questions me.
​​​​​​"I don't know, chocolate chip muffins?"

I'm currently having a picnic outside with Reigna and I'll admit, I've never been this happy before.
"OATMEAL RAISIN COOKIE!" I shout as Reigna hands me one and she laughs.
"I'm RAISIN the roof." I tell her and she laughs again.
"Your so adorable." She tells me leaning in, I blush and look away.
"Ooookay, let's go back now I'm kinda tired." It was actually the truth, I was pretty tired.
"Okay sweetheart." She says grabbing my hand. Once we get back to the house I'm sorta leaning on Reigna trying not to fall asleep as we get to the stairs Reigna picks me up and I squeal in surprise, my arms flung around her neck.
"You scared me." I whisper.
"I wouldn't drop you. Oh and Zane?"
"Yes?" I ask as she lays me in our bed.
"Don't worry about the full moon, I'll be there."
