A Werewolf's Desire

Chapter Seven

(That's Reigna's dress)
Today is the party Reigna decided to throw so the pack can meet me. I currently just got out of the shower and am looking at the black dress I have to put on. It wasn't the dress, I loved the dress, but If I wore this people would be able to see the scars on my arms. Reigna was downstairs with the people she hired decorating and getting everything ready. I'm confused about why she wouldn't just get her pack to help her and when I asked her this she just laughed and told me that she wasn't going to make her pack do things for her when she could do it herself. I put on the dress and flats anyways and curl my hair, leaving my face free of make up. Going downstairs, I see Reigna explaining something to one of the people she hired. She is dressed similarly to me in a black dress, her hair is put up though. Reigna looks up at me after they leave.
"Zane." She said while looking me up and down.
"Keep your eyes to yourself." I say rolling my eyes.
She walks up to me,"People will start arriving soon." Just as she says it someone walks in, a guy with sandy blond hair and sea green eyes like Reigna's.
"Luke." She said giving him a hug, when he sets her down she turns to me.
"Zane this is my brother Luke, Luke this is my mate Zane." He smiles at me and I nod at him.
"It's a pleasure." Luke said shaking my hand.
I realize something all of a sudden and can't help but to blurt it out,
"Why wasn't he the one that became Alpha?"
"Well, our parents did start teaching him about Alpha stuff when he was younger. When they died he admitted to me that he didn't actually want to become the Alpha and since he knew I really wanted to be he taught me the stuff I needed to know and so I became Alpha. I'm older anyways."
"Oh," Was all I say, if her parents died while she was young how can she be so happy? I ponder. Reigna turns half towards her brother and me, being hyper, I jump onto her back.
"Rahh!" I yell and she grabs my legs so she's now giving me a piggyback ride.
"What are you doing?" She asks me while laughing. The smile that lights up her face and the feel of her hands on my bare thighs makes a blush settle itself onto my cheeks and tingles shoot through my body. Butterflies swirl in my stomach making me giddy and unable to stay still.
"Stop squirming Zane." Reigna tells me and the smell of her desire hits my nose. As soon as I smell it I jump down from her back, face a bright red.
"She's a shy one." Luke said laughing
"Oh shut up." I say punching his arm.
"Ow, that really hurt." He looks at his arm to see a bruise forming, I guess I'm not used to my new found strength.
"Oops."
"Well, I have to go change into 'something nice'." Luke says with air quotations. Hugging Reigna, he turns and I suppose he could tell from the look on my face that I was uncomfortable with idea of him hugging me.
On his way out Luke yells,"She's a keeper, Reigna."

Later when Luke comes back I'm hiding out in the library with my nose in a book. There's a ton of people in the house and I'm just not good with people. Reigna had to go help some of the staff with something in the kitchen and I didn't want to stand out there awkwardly.
"What are you doing?" Luke asks sticking his head through the library door.
"There are too many people out there." I state simply.
"So? Come on," He says grabbing my arm and pulling me behind him, I look back at the book sitting in the chair longingly as we exit the library. When we get to where the majority of people are I hear Reigna speak up.
"I'd like everyone to meet my mate and your Luna."
At that moment I hear glass breaking and something whizzes by my head only to fall on the floor at my feet. Reigna runs to me faster than I thought possible, "Are you okay? Are you hurt?" She asks examining me. I just stare at the rock on the ground, it almost hit me. Reigna picks it up and unties the paper from it. I look at it over her shoulder,
'We cannot tolerate this, we will declare war if you do not have a male Alpha
