Chapter Eleven

I sleep through half of the drive to the meeting, Reigna said we would stay the night there then have the meeting tomorrow.
"Are you alright sweetheart?" Reigna asks me, sitting a hand on my thigh.
"Just tired." I tell her, face heating up at her touch. When we pull into the long winding driveway I sit up and attempt to rub the sleep away.
Once we get to our room Reigna throws our bags down lazily and plops on the bed. I smirk and then straddle her.
"What are you doing?" She asks surprised, opening her eyes to look at me questioningly.
"What do you think?" I don't give her time to answer because I kiss her. Suddenly she flips us so that I'm underneath her, then she deepens our kiss. I squirm underneath her and my hands tighten around the fabric of her shirt.
Reigna is smirking when she pulls away," I can smell your desire." I blush at her words. Reigna starts to kiss down my neck and when she reaches my mark I moan.

"Sweetheart, I've got to go to the meeting now." I grasp Reigna and whimper.
"Don't go."
"I have to, I'll come back right after and we'll have breakfast. For now why don't you rest a bit more?"
"Fine." I pout, she kisses my lips and soon after I hear the door close.

Reigna
The Alphas idly chat as we wait for Gregory, aka, Alpha Fang to get here.
"So you finally found your mate?" Alex asks me.
"She did." Zachary answers for me and I eye him. At my gaze he says," I heard you two last night and might I suggest that next time don't be so loud."
Alex and I laugh," So your the poor soul that's roomed next to us." I shrug and laugh again," What can I say, I just couldn't keep my hands to myself when her desire smells so sweet." I smile, I'm sure Zane would be blushing if she were here. I turn back serious as the Alpha we've all been waiting on arrives.
"Why are we even having a meeting?" Gregory asks angrily glaring at me as he sits down.
"You know exactly why." Zachary accuses.
"Your pack is suffering because of your poor ways of running it, your threatening other packs and we all know your mate died a year ago which was when you should have stepped down." Nicholas calmly explains.
"But a female shouldn't be running a pack and my mates death has nothing to do with this!" Gregory says angrily.
" That has nothing to do with your pack. Why have you become so sexist about females? We know Xander was killed by one but this has gotten out of hand." Alex says.
"Don't even say his name!"
"If you don't step down, we'll have to punish you for refusing because you aren't stable enough to be Alpha." Nicholas says.

Zane
"Did you sleep well sweetheart?" Reigna asks when she comes in and notices I'm awake.
"How can I sleep when your not here to keep me warm?"
"Well I'm here now." Reigna says embracing me. Suddenly her phone rings and she pulls away to grab it, she rests her chin on my head as she listens to the other end. She stands back up after hanging up.
"What is it?"
"We have to go home, rogues attacked our pack."
