I grab my glass of bourbon and sit on the couch our Anna and I's apartment "Anna as much as I love you, I'm not going to go look around for Katherine, I miss her but I want to travel and explore the world." I say sipping my drink, she pulls back from the human who's blood she was drinking and glares at me "My mom has been locked in a tomb for the past 55 almost 56 years, I want her back Amy!" she says, I roll my blue eyes at her and lay back just as out maid bring me a plate with steak and rice, I smile at her and she walks off, I start eating my food and look at Anna who is still glaring at me, I swallow and say "Anna please come to reason, if Katherine wants us she will find us not the other way around, you know she knows how to hide from everyone."
"I am telling you the reason, my mom is the most important person in the world no matter what age we are in! I want to free her and be with her!" She hisses at me and get's up, I look at her shocked "I thought I was the most important person to you in the world?!" I whisper, she looks at me and says "No you're not, my mom is she will always be!" I start glaring at her and get up, she follows my every movement and asks "What are you doing?" I ignore her and walk to our room "Amanda Salvatore answer me!" she says, I continue to ignore her and bring out my trucks and place them on top of the of the bed, I open them and walk to the dressers and wardrobe and start grabbing my things and throwing them into the trunks, when suddenly I'm pinned to the wall by my neck "What on earth are you doing?" she hisses, I keep quiet and use my witch side to give her an aneurysm which makes her fall on the floor clutching her head in her hands groaning, after a few moments I stop and say "I'm leaving, I can't believe that you are willing to throw almost 56 years of a relationship away for someone who as much as they care for me won't appreciate the fact that their daughter is dating a woman much less a woman who she thought to be straight and well educated as myself!" she looks at me as I continue packing my things, she doesn't say a word knowing that I'm right about this.
As soon as I finish packing, I walk out to the carriage that was already waiting for me and ordered one of the helpers to bring my trunks down, as soon as they do, the chauffeur to take me to the Hale household, once we arrive I get off the carriage and compel the chauffeur to stay in the shade, I walk up to the front door and knock, not long after I knock the door opens and Mrs Hale appears with Mr Hale behind her "Amanda, thank you for coming today." Mrs Hale says, I smile and walk in "Good morning Mrs and Mr Hale, I have unfortunate news for you, this will be the last day that I will be in Rochester, I'm leaving for Chicago later today." I say, they look at me sadly and nod just as little feet are heard and a little girl with vibrant violet/blue eyes and gold looks appears smiling and squealing "AMY!" I smile at her and pick her up spinning her happily as she squealed and looked at me "Hello little angel." I say as I balance her on my hip, she smiles and starts playing with my hair. Mr Hale leaves and Mrs Hale leads me to the lounge and we sit down "Are you sure you can't stay? It'll break Rosalie's heart if you leave." she says, I nod and say "I have to reunite with my brothers, it's been a few years since I have last seen them and I miss them dearly, but I'll miss my Rosebud, I promise to send letters." she nods and smiles. "Rosalie please come here." I call out and she appears from the staircase "I'm going to have to go Rosebud." I say, she smiles and wraps her tiny arms around my neck "See you tomorrow Amy." she says, I hug her back before pulling back and saying "I'm going away, from Rochester, I'm going to meet up with my brothers is Chicago, but I promise to send you loads of letters and presents." she looks at me with tears in her eyes but nods, I kiss her small forehead and walk to my carriage and order the chauffeur to take me to Chicago.
We arrive in Chicago and I get down, I walk around the town with my compelled bodyguard after we leave my thing at the house of a compelled couple. I walk around until I bump into someone "Pardon me Ma'am." the person says in a familiar tone, I look up only to find my one year older brother's green eyes "No problem at all Stefan." I say, he looks at me with confusion but then when realization hits him he hugs me tightly.
