Chapter 8

*Amanda's P.O.V.*

I step out of the house I had bought near the woods, ever since 1924 I have been feeding on animals, I walk around the city for a few minutes when the scent of human blood hits my nose, I look around to see if there are any humans around the area before using my enhanced speed to run where the person is.

Once I arrive at a dark alley, I look at the person and gasp as I recognize who it is, Rosalie Hale, the little girl I used to babysit in 1919/1920, I hurry to her side and hear her heart beat faintly, I pick her up and run like a human to the nearest hospital, I barge in through the door ignoring that family in the lobby and call out "Help I need a doctor! She's dying!" I choke back sobs as a pale man from the family comes near me "What's the problem Miss.... Lilly?" he starts saying but when he sees my face he becomes more worried "No I'm not Lilly...... that's my mom...... please help her....... she's been beaten..... and raped......"I say between sobs, he looks at his family and picks up the girl, I let him as cold arms wrap themselves around my body, I see the boy lean close to Rose and spring to him grabbing his neck and slamming him against the wall baring my fangs as I feel my eyes change to their golden color.

"It's alright he's not going to do anything to her." the man says, I let go of the boy still hissing at him, "Carlisle we need to take her home, you need to change her she's going to die if you don't." a woman says, I snap my head to him with my fangs still out and speed in front of him startling him and the woman making them along with the boy gasp, "You're Carlisle Cullen?" I ask, he nods and I take out a picture and place it next to his face, after I see that it's really him I say "Please save her. Do anything in your power." he nods and walks out to his carriage, he orders the man to go home as fast as possible.

Once we arrive at their house, he rushes in and I use my enhanced speed to open the door and take her from his arms and into one of the bedrooms, there I start cleaning her forehead with a cloth. "You may want to wait outside." the boy says and I hiss at him, my fangs coming out once more and my eyes changing "Edward let's not annoy our guest. Miss I will explain everything later." Carlisle, my father, says I nod and keep hold of her hand, my father moves her head to the side and bites into her neck my eyes fly open as I think 'Vampire! Cold One!' from the corner of my eyes I see the boys eyes fly open wide, 'Ohhhhh mind reader!' I think and he looks at me, I feel him try and read my mind and give him a small aneurysm making him fall on the floor on his knees holding his head, the woman goes to him and tries to figure what is wrong, I only stop when I hear Rose's heart beat a bit stronger.

I turn my attention to her and smile faintly "Carlisle she knows what we are." the boy says, father looks at me and asks "How do you?" I look at him and smile "In 1922 I met a man, Niklaus Mikaelson, he told me about you and how you were a Cold One vampire. I'm like Klaus a Night walker, though my eyes don't change red nor I get veins under my eyes, I believe it's because when I was born your Cold One genes passed onto me. What I'm trying to say is that I'm your daughter, Lillian Salvatore, she almost died giving birth to me but passed away when I was 4."

He looks at with his eyes wide and tries to understand everything, I pull a picture of my mother and show it to him. He smiles at the picture and grabs it, "I didn't know she got pregnant." he whispered, I smile and say "She did, even though you two were only together for 1 night she did and she had me 9 months later." he smiles and rubs my cheek, as he does I hear the boy clear his throat. "I'm Edward Mason Jr, well now I'm Edward Cullen." I nod at him and the woman says "I'm Esme Cullen, born Platt." I nod at her and watch her as she walks to Carlisle, who wraps an arm around her waist, I smile a bit and ask "Are you two married?"  the two nod and smile.

"I'm Amanda Crystal Salvatore." I say, "Cullen." father adds, I look at him frowning and he says "Amanda Crystal Salvatore Cullen." I smile at him and rub Rosalie's knuckles, "Welcome to the family dear." Esme says with a bright smile, Edward walks over to me and pats my shoulder, "I guess I'll be calling you sister now." he chuckles, I shrug his hand off and smirk at him. "Esme do you mind if I call you mom, I lost my mother when I was 4 so..." I ask in a low voice, she looks at me with teary eyes before walking to me and wrapping her arms around me hugging me tightly "I would love that." she whispers, I smile big and hug her back.

I hear someone move in the bed and sit up snapping eye open only to find Rosalie laying there, more beautiful than ever, "Rosebud?" I ask her quietly, she snaps her head to me and throws her arms around me hugging me tightly "You came back..." she whispers in a melody like voice, I giggle and hug her back tightly.
