"Hello?" Isaac said.

"Yeah, it's Ivy."

"Okay. . ."

"You still remember what happened in sixth grade right?" Ivy asked.

"Aliens, yes," Isaac answered.

"Good," Ivy said, "Raven says that this Virus thing is from the aliens that abducted our class two years ago."

"That's believable," Isaac said.

"Anyway—Wait a minute. Can I call you in like five minutes?"

"Sure."

They hung up.

Isaac was excited, this was the first exciting thing that happened in two years.

He walked to his computer and started listening to music, his favorite artist was 'Fall Out Boy'.

"Isaac! Turn down your music!" His dad yelled.

"Okay, Dad!"

Isaac turned his music down by about half.

His phone rang.

"Hello?"

"Why do you always say 'Hello?' when you answer?" Ivy asked.

"I dunno, it's what most people say."

"True enough."

"So, where did you go?" Isaac asked.

"I called Raven and asked her about the thing."

"The thing?"

"Sorry, brain fart. It's not like I know exactly what to say."

"Okay. . . So what's the thing?"

"The Virus. She said that she just talked to Grant about this."

"Okay. . ." Isaac said.

"Why do you keep saying 'okay. . .'?" Ivy asked.

"Why do you keep asking why I keep saying certain words?"

"Well, I find that-"

"That was a rhetorical question, don't answer that," Isaac told her.

"Sure."

"Anyway, what else did she say?"

"Uh, she said that she and Terra are having a planning meeting at Raven's house."

"Is that it?" Isaac asked.

"Oh! She want's us to go to her house to join the meeting, Caiden too."

"I can get Caiden but I'll have to ask my dad if I can go tonight. I don't even know where she lives."

"I do, I'll call you in fifteen minutes, you better be ready, also pack an extra set of clothes."

"Why?" Isaac asked.

"Just do it, and stop asking questions, I hate questions," Ivy told him.

"Why?"

"Shut up."

"Fine."

"Bye," Ivy said.

"Bye."

Isaac hung up.

"Hey, Dad?" Isaac called.

"Yes?" his dad answered.

"Can I go to a friend's house?"

"Why?"

Isaac had to think of a clever lie.

"Uh, they're having an emergency."

"Really?"

"Yeah, they said something about, uh, things."

"Alright. . . You just have to be home by lunch tomorrow."

"Thanks."
