Chapter 19

*Dani's P.O.V.*

The night carried on normally after the little therapy session I had with Harry in the car, which relieved me. I really didn't like thinking about my dad. I mean, what was the point? He was out of my life now, he didn't matter. I didn't want to remember him; I wanted to pretend he didn't exist. But I guess he did... But moving to England was supposed to be my fresh start. I was falling for Harry Styles for real, and he was putting me under the impression that he was falling for me too... So fuck my 'dad', he was no longer a character in the story of my life. (A/N: OMG SEE STORY OF MY LIFE I CAN'T EVEN hehe... sorry continue reading)
Harry was the main character now.

After dinner, most of us were just hanging around Casa de Direction, but Zayn and Derek went across the street to set up our TV or something. I don't know about anyone else, but personally I thought they were like hooking up or something. But not actually. I was chilling next to Harry on the couch per usual, extremely aware of his arm resting on the back of the couch. I was waiting to see if he would make a move, and by about 10:30 he did.

"I'm tired," he yawned, pulling me into him and resting his head on my shoulder. I giggled, placing my head on his and placing my hand on his chest. I noticed Haley and Niall were cuddling, as were Liam and Sydney. Louis looked around at all of us, putting on a fake frown.

"If you'll excuse me, I'm going to go be single alone," he announced in a funny voice, making me laugh. Haley frowned playfully as he stomped up the stairs like a child who had been denied desert.

"I love you, LouLou!" she called up the stairs, still entangled in Niall's embrace.

"Forever Alone," I muttered jokingly, earning a giggled from Haley and chuckles from Niall and Harry. Just then, my phone screamed "SUPERMAAAAAAN!" making me jump as I received a text. I blushed, remembering Louis was my ringtone. "Sorry, thought I had that on vibrate," I mumbled embarrassedly as they all laughed at me in a friendly way.

"YAY I'M APPRECIATED!" Louis' familiar scream came from the top of the stairs. I giggled and rolled my eyes, checking the text.

Derkerk: Hey, come home, we set up the tv! :D

I sighed, not wanting to leave.

Me: fine, ill be right there

I replied, getting up off the couch. Harry frowned at my change in location. "Derek wants me home," I replied, making sure my discontent was clear. As weird as it was for me, I wanted Harry to know how much I liked him, what I would do for him. His face brightened.

"Well it's quite dark out. I'll walk you home!" he offered, getting up as well and following me into the foyer. I smiled to myself as I put my shoes on. I was thinking about how Louis referenced his lack of a girlfriend, somewhat implying that Harry and I were not single. Harry hadn't seemed to mind... I definitely didn't. It was kind of a weird moment, but whatever. I was probably just over-thinking the whole thing. I called my goodbyes to the rest of the household as Harry and I exited, closing the door behind us as we stepped into the dark night. The street was dimly lit by the soft illumination of the moon, and the air was crisp and cool. It was the perfect scene. I was pleasantly surprised when a hand slipped into mine, and I smiled over at Harry. He didn't even seem to be thinking anything of it, just smiling slightly to himself as he led me through the dark.

He was absolutely breathtaking. The way his hair shined in the pale moonlight, his little dimples that appeared whenever he smiled, how he walked like he didn't have a care in the world, how his grip on my hand was firm, but not tight, everything about him just made my heart beat that little bit faster. I couldn't help but wonder what he was thinking about. Before I could ask, we reached my doorstep. He turned to me and smiled, making me feel things I had never felt before. This boy was breaking me. You keep making me weak, yeah frozen and can't breathe. The lyrics flowed beautifully through my mind as I smiled back. I would die to hear his voice form those words in person...
