A/N: just real quick. Someone asked me not on here, who is Chung and why hasn't Venus shown up yet. Well, you're about to find out. Probably not in this chapter but eventually. If you've seen the old show where Venus was introduced, then you'll know how this story goes. Meantime, please enjoy.

Returning to his favorite world in his mind was more harder then before. Having to make it there by force gave Splinter a bit of a headache. He would have gotten some water to let him be calm, but he didn't want to be questioned by his sons when they find him. He was finally in his dream world, trying to find his spiritual friend once again.
This time, the place looked different.
The normal beautiful blue sky was no more but orange and filled with terrifying dark clouds. Rocks were being thrown everywhere instead of pretty bubbles, but most of all, the grass Splinter stand on in his dreams was dead.
This was only his mind, but it was becoming dark and dangerous. What happened? He studied every single detail and began to shout. "Chung!" He shouted letting his voice echoed through the dark world. "Chung, answer to me! I need you!"
Suddenly, evil laughter grew louder than before in the world, giving the rat a jump. Splinter tried to find the source of where the laughing was from. Nothing happened, nor appeared.
"Chu- ah!"
Suddenly, a wince of pain hit his head as he kicked in the back. He fell forward and looked up as a shadow covered his way of looking into life. The figure stood upon Splinter letting his shadow cover him, and grinned evilly to him. The figure wasn't easy to tell for the rat, but there was one thing Splinter could see. This figure had sharp teeth, and had scales around his face.
"No." Immediately Splinter stood up to face the dark figure, and took a step back. "You can't be here. Leave this place!"
"Oh Splinter," a voice appear from the figure. "It has been so long. You must be very graceful if this world is becoming to be an end. Too bad Chung wasn't here to witness this place of nightmares."
More laughter was to be made, but it wasn't by one person. It was by more strange creatures, some high and creepy, some low and scary. Splinter saw himself be surrounded by strange figures that stood in a shadow. He tried to find an escape from the circle army, but it was no use. There was too many of them.
"What did you do to Chung?" Splinter asked getting a bit louder.
The largest figure chuckled. "See for yourself."
Then he held his hand that had claws at the tip of his fingers and let a ball of light appear. The ball began to flow and show the home of a man, the same spirit man Splinter met. The ball flew to Splinter so he would get a closer look, but his eyes was soon to be filled with horror. He witness his friend as no spirit to be attacked by his mirror of lighting. The screaming echoed into Splinter's ears as he watched his friend become.... breathless...
His anger grew inside his soul, and snarled his rat teeth to the figure as the ball vanished. "You fool!" He shouted. "Do you have any idea what you have done?!"
But then Splinter was responded by the sharp hand the figure had and fell backwards onto the floor in more pain. The figures surrounding laughed at his failure of fighting back. By then, the largest walked towards the rat, and pressed his foot onto pushing hard. "I have taken away his last minutes of earth, just like what I'll do to you, Hamato Yoshi."
The figure then raised his hand in air letting his claws grow sharper. The little ones cheered for the largest figure as he was about to take Splinter's life. Splinter panted in fear, and only closed his eyes, waiting for the pain to come. He began to remember the time he brought the turtles into his life, how they became a family together. Now they won't be able to have him. He'll be..
"Aah!"
The figure shouted in pain which grew Splinter to be alerted. He opens his eyes and looked up at the figure as he was being electrocuted by strange light, magic. He kept screaming, and was thrown into one part of his army letting them fall.
Splinter looked behind him and was greeted by another spirit. This was an unknown looking form to the others, but Splinter knew immediately who this was. "You will not harm Yoshi!" A voice escape the spirit's mouths as the form of a female.
Splinter smiled towards the mysterious figure as she did the same. "Thank you Mei."
Suddenly, her spirit was vanished as her last face was filled with confusion. She was gone. Splinter then ran out of the surrounding circle and chased after the ball of light she was carried by. "No!"
But then he fell forward when he felt his tail being held down by the large figures foot. He looked back at him and snarled towards him.
"You're not going anywhere Splinter!" The figure shouted as his grin grew. "You think she can save you?"
He was breathless, but Splinter was able to speak. "Yes. I believe in her, and my sons."
"You just keep on dreaming you rat." The figure laughed as he grabbed Splinter by his neck. "Because you'll be waking up soon, in your own death."
The laughter of his army only screamed through Splinter's ears, making him feel dizzy. But he did not let this put him down.
He knew his sons will save him. They always did, just like he did for them.

Later that day...

The turtles may have returned to earth, but that doesn't mean the Kraang or Shredder haven't done anything since their arrived. So in order to feel safe, the turtles went on patrol. They spied on the Kraang for an hour and then tried to spy on Shredder and his minions. The most they heard from him, was he mourning of Karai being a mutant, and is remaining lost in New York.
It was true. Karai was still missing after her trap with the turtles. They only hoped she was alive and well. They were considering to go searching for her again, but daytime was arriving, and there would be no way of her being actually outside. Plus humans will scream at the sight of four mutant turtles. So they went home.
Mikey of course being goofy along the way as Donnie tried to be smart with him. Raph was just annoyed and tired, but for Leo, he was silent. That's what caught their attention on their oldest brother, it was his silence. "Hey Leo," Raph said getting the blue mask turtle's attention. "You alright?"
"I'm fine." He answered. "Im just.... I'm really worried about sensei. It's not like him to ask about our dreams. Do you guys think maybe something is wrong?"
They looked at each other, as the idea of Splinter came to mind. Then they looked back at their oldest with Mikey saying, "Don't worry bro. Master Splinter just likes to make sure we're safe and all. After all, we haven't been in New York for a couple of months. These have been a blast."
"Yeah, I wouldn't worry too much about it Leo." Raph said as he patted his brother's shoulders.
Donnie then turned to Mikey and said, "Speaking of which, why did you a cheesesicle Mikey?"
Mikey's eyes grew wide and immediately he smiled. "Who said I ate it?"
"Uh, you did in the dojo."
"How do you know I wasn't trying to say I didn't eat it? What if Raph did?"
Obviously Mikey was trying to play innocent. He didn't do such a good job at that. So Donnie gave up and they continue their path to the lair.
As they returned, two of the youngest sat down in the living room turning on the television, as for Raph, he walked towards the pinball machine and began playing. Leo stood still a moment and said, "Well, I'm just gonna check on him. Then maybe I'll play some video games."
"You do what you want fearless." Raph said not looking back at his brother.
Leo nodded and then entered into the dojo. Once he stepped in and looked up, he found his master on the floor passed out. It looked as if he was training himself or something, for he looked like he was hurt, exhausted. He was panting badly and groaning in pain.
He gasped and ran towards the rat. "Sensei!" He yelled trying to wake his master. "Sensei, what happen?"
But it seemed Splinter was still asleep. He did not hear his son's voice, nor did he wake up.
The sound of Leo's yelling caught the others' attention. They ran into the dojo to find their master and brother on the floor. They surrounded him hoping to wake him. He was still sleeping.
"What happen Leo?" Raph asked.
"I don't know guys." Leo said letting his father's head rest in his lap. "I came in to check on him and then I find him like this."
Donnie placed his hand upon his master's forehead and began to feel his heat radiation was the same. "He's still sleeping, but he's not hurt. I don't think anyone came and attacked him."
"Well he needs to wake up." Raph said. "I don't like the way how he's breathing."
"I know he perfect solution!" Mikey stood up immediately raising his hand in the air. Then as he reached into the back of his shell, he pulled out a slice of pepperoni pizza, bend back on his knees, and put the piece close to Splinter's nose. Splinter didn't show a sign of sniffing, or waking up. He was still out.
Mikey gasped pulling the pizza back and felt himself began to panic. "It didn't work?! What are we gonna do?!"
"I don't know." Donnie said. "This isn't like sensei to-"
Suddenly, the lights went out. The entire dojo, including the living room, lost power of a source in light. The turtles tried to see in the dark, but they couldn't. "Dudes, why are the lights out?" Mikey asked.
"Probably a power issue," Donnie said. "I'll have to get it later. Right now, we need to focus on-"
"Whoa!"
Suddenly, Leo's voice was a scream, which cause the others to jumped. He was missing in the dark, for when everyone tried to call for him, his voice never responded. "Leo, answer!" Raph shouted.
"Heeeellllpp mee!" Mikey voice shouted as he was gone as well.
The two remaining turtles stood up and pulled out their weapons trying to search for their brothers. But as they both turned around, they were faced with a pair of eyes, only to show it wasn't their brothers.
"Oh sewer apples." Raph spoke as he felt defeated.
