the first time i
saw you i couldn't
place what i felt
you had me so intrigued with
those wide eyes of yours
and they were black
i couldn't decide
if your shirt was
in the color of
mint green or pale blue
but i liked how it
perfectly suited you
i tried to ignore the
idea of your existence
but it seemed impossible
for in that first day
i walked in and
you were seated there
was it a rush of curiosity
that sent me in nonchalance
it made me calm that
we never spoke
a word to each other
yet
