Amanda quickly took off her boots and get inside with Jason. She went to the kitchen and cooked some soup for two. While she's cooking, she was looking to the guy that was on their couch and suddenly stood and went to the window, looking outside.
"After this rain, I will send you home!" she said.
Jason looked at her and said sadly, " But I don't have..............home."
"What?! Where's your parents?" she asked.
"I don't have any!!!"
"Oh I'm sorry, I should not asked," she said while preparing their meal. She called the guy and they continued their conversation at the dining room.
"Any relatives or friends?" she asked.
"I-I don't have any too..."
She said fluently, "Poor guy!" and continued, "So, where you from?" she asked again.
"I'm in everywhere!"
"Everywhere! Hmm..."
"I mean, v-very far, f-far from here," he said.
Suddenly the phone rang and Amanda quickly answered it. Jason was staring at her while she was talking on the phone. After the phone call, Jason asked her, "Wh-who??!!"
"The phone?! OH! It's my mom, she's asking if I'm alright and she said that if I have a time, maybe I could go to my father."
"Wh-where's your father?"
She sighed and said, "He's gone."
"Oh! I'm sorry, I should not asked about it."
"That's alright!" she smiled.
"Y-you love your father very much, r-right?"
"Yeah! You know, I do believe in reincarnation and if I'm going to have another life in the future, I still want him to be my father!"
Jason wondered about what Amanda have said and he tried to say it again.
"Re-in-- what???"
"Re-in-car-na-tion!!!" she said slowly.
"Re-in-c-carnn.."
Amanda noticed that Jason was always stammering like he don't know what he's about to say.
"Wait! I-i'm sorry to tell you this but... I- just noticed that, you're like nervous in everything you say and... I don't know, it's just... you read??" she asked.
"Uhm.. Seriously, I can't! Bu-but I can understand and I can speak some words." Jason replied.
Amanda got mad about it but she thought an idea on how to help him. "Oh! Wait there..." and she ran going upstairs.
"Whe-where are you going ?"
"My room! I'm going to get something." and when she came back, she have carried a box.
"Wh-what's inside of it?!" Jason asked.
Amanda opened the box with her old books and magazines inside. She get all of it and placd it on the table.
"What are we going to do with those b-books?" Jason asked.
"I'm going to teach you how to read!!"
"Read? Really??"
"Yeah!!!"
The guy smiled and said "Thank you!"
"And your welcome!" she smiled.
Suddenly, Jason remembered a thing, "Oh! I-I forgot," the guy took a plastic out of his pocket and gave it to Amanda.
"What's this?"
"O-open it!"
She opened the plastic and saw the picture of her and her father inside of it, "How'd you get this?" she asked.
"I-I saw you yesterday at the-the park and you left it." he said.
"Oh! Thank you! I-I don't know that I left it, thanks again!"
"Your welcome too!"
Amanda smiled and she started to teach Jason some of words, she also taught him how to write. After hours of teaching, she let Jason to read all her old books and magazines. She looked outside the window and saw that the sun's going to set, she never notice the time . She just cleaned the broken pieces of glasses on the floor and prepared some dinner for them.
