Toothless POV
A tiny piece flew off the vibrating shell, my heart was pounding. A little blue and black tail poked out through the tiny hole. Another part broke off and out came a little black paw. The top of the shell fell off and the egg tipped over and a little dragon cane rolling out. She had four feet ,two wings, a couple of spikes on her forearms, a tail with blue fins and a few blue spikes here and there, two slightly large wings, the inner parts were a bright blue, the head of a Night Fury with crystal blue eyes and tiny bright blue spikes on her head. She chirped happily and scurried to me, I lowered my head and she looked into my eyes and smiled. She ran to her mother and rubbed her chin with her body and zipped back to her egg, she looked at her wings and tried to fly. To our surprise, she had all four paws off the ground with seconds. Storm asked me, "What should we name her?" "Nightfly." I replied. She nodded, "Perfect." I smiled at her. Nightfly landed on my back and went to sleep. Stormfly, Nightfly, and I dropped by Hookfang to see how he and Fang were doing, there egg had hatched too. She was a bright orange with green eyes, as we arrived, Nightfly began to wake up and quickly made friends with Plume. Plume was the name of the Monstrous Nightmare baby. It was starting to get late and not everyone's dragons were hatched, Barf and Belch had a son named Scorch and Burn, Meatlug also had a son named Rumble. I yawned and laid down, Nightfly cuddled close by me, Stormfly went for a quick flight. I dosed off into sleep with my new daughter by my side.
