After rummaging through the dark for twenty minutes, Lucas finally announced the arrival of the music section with relief. Hans stood in the pitch black room, wondering where to start; the lack of light was most certainly a hindrance to his searching. "How am I supposed to find anything in this darkness?" He asked frustratingly.
"Can we just go to sleep and find it in the morning?" Rosalie begged.
"I suppose so, we're not going to make any worthwhile progress in this light." Hans replied.
"Sleep'd be nice." Ethan laughed.
"Wouldn't it just..." Lucas replied.
The four settled down, lying close to each other in the darkness. Sleep kicked in, and left our heroes to the mercy of their dreams. Morning entered the windows and casted itself upon the shelves and shelves of vinyl records, all neatly laid out. Hans awoke, stretching his arms and legs out euphorically. "Morning all." He spoke as he watched the others do the same. A new day welcomed new adventures, but mostly new dangers; though this day actually felt like it was off to a good start.
"Oh thank god, we weren't all killed in our sleep." Lucas sighed in relief.
"That was a serious risk for you?" Hans asked, surprised.
"Someone could have very easily wondered on in here and found us all." Lucas replied.
"Well I'm glad you only told us now." Rosalie glared at Lucas.
"That information would have been quite helpful; we could have had someone on watch." Ethan butted in.
"I was tired and I didn't want to scare you guys." Lucas replied, feeling a little upset from the backlash. "And we're all fine, aren't we?" Lucas added, trying to reason with the other three.
"It's fine, Lucas; Come on, let's get to work." Hans patted Lucas on the shoulder as he walked past him.
Hans curiously looked about the hall of vinyl records; its size caught him by surprise. At fifty metres by forty metres, with three layers to share the mass, an elegantly traditional palace-like interior, and the largest collection of vinyl records ever seen; this sight brought Hans to awe. Signs designated themselves to different categories of music, and were hung all over the room. With a quick scan, Hans found the 'rock' section on the first balcony layer. "Well, you guys have something to eat or something; I'll be getting some music." He announced, and with that, he ran up the stairs and made his way to his destination.
"I'm going to go look for some books." Rosalie declared.
"Be careful." Lucas replied.
"Sure." Rosalie wondered out the hall, and into the now visible book section. The enormous room stretched out on both sides, seeming impossibly large, and fantastically beautiful. Gigantic stone pillars grew from the floor, reaching the roof, of which was decorated with ceiling windows, blaring down all the light one would need to work their way around the maze of book shelves. "Well I better start somewhere." She grabbed a book out from her immediate vicinity. "Penny Derbyshire; the world in total and absolute crisis. Well she's definitely right about something." Rosalie sighed, staring at the book hopelessly. The put it away and pulled out another. "Quick guide to potion making? Is there no order to this library at all? Oh well..." He placed it in her inventory.
A BANG of a door being violently thumped open threw Rosalie off tracks with her thoughts. She flung her head up, with danger seeking eyes. Someone had entered the building.
