You ran downstairs to see what happened. Shadow was triumphantly standing atop a crushed chair. "Shadow! What the heck?"

"I was angry." He justified, crossing his arms over his chest.

You just shrugged before saying, "I'm going to do my homework. Hey, aren't you bored at home?"

He just shrugged, crimson irises looking into your own (e/c) ones. "Want to come to school with me tomorrow?" You cringed, awaiting his response.

"Why?"

"I want you to meet my friends!"

"Fine, but if I don't like it, I'm leaving."

Yes! Victory! "Okay." You ran upstairs to grab him a backpack and such. "Shadow! Here's your backpack!" You announced, handing the dark hedgehog a red backpack lined with black.

He grunted in approval, and you got to work on your homework.

You groaned as something poked your cheek, one (e/c) eye opening to see the monotone face of Shadow, as he proceeded to wake you up.

"You slept through your alarm, idiot." Shoot! You frantically got up, looking for the clock when your eyes landed on it. 7:30. You only had 15 minutes left to get ready! You ushered Shadow out of your room, getting ready and hastily throwing on your signature grey beanie.

As you walked out of your room, you noticed that you had five minutes left. A delicious smell wafted to your nose-omelettes. You hurriedly grabbed your backpack, rushing down the stairs and walking into the kitchen. "Shadow, I didn't know you were much of a chef," you teased, giggling a bit at his slightly pink cheeks.

Scarfing the delicious omelette down your throat, you signalled Shadow to follow you out the door.

You two walked to the bus stop in comfortable silence, you occasionally taking small peeks at the hot hedgie striding next to you.

"-and then I was like, 'Not on my watch Egghea-"

"Hey Sonic," you began, only to be cut off by Shadow.

"Faker? What are you doing here?" He was clearly unimpressed, and instantly you knew they were enemies. He stood with his arms crossed, leaning on one leg. An eyebrow was arched, teeth bared.

"You two know each other?" You inquired, quieting down once you received a glare from Shadow.

Sonic looked startled before responding. "Shadow! I didn't know I'd be seeing you here!"

Tails interjected, "Didn't he-"

"Don't bring it up!" Knuckles shushed Tails, covering his mouth with a gloved hand, a look of disapproval on his features.

Confusion crossed your features, (h/c) brows furrowing as you struggled to comprehend the situation. "How do you know each other?"

"Well you see-"

"Shut up faker." The venomous words spilled out of the dark hedgehogs mouth monotonously, all the while his eyes were glued onto Sonic with hate.

"Shadow, play nice." You warned, a shadow crossing your face as you glared in the general direction of the two hedgehogs, mostly speaking to Shadow.

He grunted, yet calmed down a significant amount. "Wow Shades, I didn't know you were such a softie-"

"Faker. Watch it."
