I looked around. There was no man. I heard the train conductor. I guess I was getting off. A large tattooed man stopped me. He was asking for money. I told him I had none. I ran away. I called a cabby. The man wasn't there. I fell asleep. I had no nightmares. The man was dead.
I arrived home at half after twelve. My mom ran downstairs with a baseball bat. She whispered,
"Richard Telis, you scared the living daylights out of me!"
I hugged her. I went to my room and went to bed. There were no hats on the ground. I was happy. I fell asleep.
I woke up the next morning. My sister was sitting in a chair. She was talking to her old boyfriend. I ran over, hung up the call, and hugged her. She hugged me back. I called up Robert. He was doing fine. I went to the comic book store.
I picked up a Wand comic book. I bought it from the comic book store man. I left. I saw the news reporter on my tv. The rest of the random people that were killed I saw walking around. The man was dead. For good. Time must have restarted. Everyone is still alive! No more man. He was killed. I killed the man of many hats!
