When we got to her, she said "Since I'm not deaf, I heard your plan. Let's buy the tickets tomorrow before Andie comes back. Isabel and I giggled before saying "Sure! This will be so much fun!"
Mom turned around to the stove and said "Your burgers are ready, by the way. Isabel exclaimed "Oh! Ms. Ryder, I adore your burgers!"
"They're egg free too!" I chirped grinning. I was ecstatic with everything. Isabel, my mom, Andie, the surprise. I snatched my burger up, practically inhaling it. Oh, I can't wait for tomorrow!
After we eat dinner, Mom asks me to take out the trash. I take this as an opportunity to get dressed. I sprint up the stairs and get some clothes on. Hmmmm...what to wear? I decide on white jeans, a grey tee, my black beanie (both Andie and I practically live in beanies) and- oh! My glasses! I can't see past 3 meters without them. (Yeah- both Andie and I are nearsighted. Probably from being on the computer all day- we do online college of the arts. I take piano, guitar, and the occasional singing lesson. Unfortunately, since I'm only 20 I haven't made it into a professional career yet.
Isabel yanks me back downstairs to take out the trash. I grab the trash, she takes the recycling. We go out into the cool night air, when suddenly a big golden shaggy beast comes trotting by and ambushes us with slobbers and kisses. It's Jack, our neighbors' golden retriever. We dump the trash and take him back to his house. Then we return to mine.
"What took so long?" asked Mom when we got back in. "Oh, nothing," we replied. "We were just attacked by Jack." Mom burst out laughing and hands us our sundaes. After that we go lie on the couch on watch The Purge: Election Day. It's not too scary, right?
