Chapter 12

Andy

We're at Jackie's house, just hanging out. It's  October 28th. We leave for tour November 26. This time we're actually going all around the USA, then going to England New Year's Eve. I have a plan for what's going to happen once we get there.... "Hey Andy do you want to go to a party Thursday night. Andie and Jacky are having one and were invited. It's kind of a Halloween party." "Sure!" I reply. "What are you gonna be?" I grin, reaching over to put my arms around her. "Hmmm.... Three options." "Shoot." "Cheshire cat, Queen of Hearts, or my favorite- Harley Quinn." My face broadens into a smile. "Harley, definitely. Then I'll be the Joker." Jackie smiles. "Are you sure? You can be Batman if you want." She's so considerate. "No! It's fine. Plus I know someone who's coming here tomorrow that does great Joker makeup."

Jackie

"Who?" I ask eagerly. "Ronnie Radke." Cool! "Awesome!" I say. "Hey Andy." I start. "Yeah babe?" "Are you alright?" He makes a confused expression. "Yeah, why?" "I dunno, you just seem like you mind's somewhere else. "Y'know you can tell me anything, right. I love you." He softly kisses me and half-whispers. "Of course. I have nothing to hide from you."

Andy

Well in reality, yeah I am hiding what's going to happen on January 1st. Suddenly, she gets a call from an unknown number.

Jackie

"You really thought you could escape me, didn't you sweet cakes." Him. Hot tears start to form. "You think you escaped and your new pretty boy's going to protect you." "You're in jail." I try to say confidently. "You're in jail," he mocks. "How can I be in jail when I have the keys and the guards are dead!"    
I crash into the couch and try not to sob. Andy immediately rushes to my side. "I know where you live, you know that. I'm coming for you, and you know that I will find you." With that, Derek hangs up. "What's wrong Jackie? Who was that?" "Andy I- there's something I have to tell you. Come to my room."

We go upstairs and sit down on my bed. I start. "Andy, I was in a relationship that ended about six months before I met you. It wasn't a good one. His name was Derek. He was abusive, and continuously raped me. I lied to you the when we-did it, because we were so happy and I didn't want to ruin the moment. He held me in his house, not letting me talk to my family, only out to go get food with him. Then one night I stole his box of sedatives and basically roofied him. I managed to run to the police station and told them all about what happened. Before I met you, I was still struggling with anxiety and depression, but it all vanished when I met you. He's going to find me; I can't escape him forever." I put my face in my hands and silently cried. "I'm so sorry." he says slowly. "I'm so sorry all of this happened to you. If there's anything I can do-" "What you can you is give me some time on my own. Just to figure out what I'm going to do. Just a break." I say. "Okay" he says silently, and leaves.

I curl up into a ball on my bed, instantly regretting the decision I made. I'm not sure how, but I soon fall asleep.

Andy

Shit. I did not see this coming. I get back on the bus. Only CC is there. I suddenly know what to do. "Hey CC, come here. Since you know Jackie best out of all of you guys, I'm going to ask you for some help. I tell him what happened, then tell him my plan. "So when should I do it.? I was planning New Years Day, in England on a snowy hill or something." He grins "Perfect. Add some sort of flower arch and dawn to the mix and it'll be perfect. Let's to the mall to get the 'item'. We walk out and get a taxi.

CC (finally)

Finally we get to the mall. I'm really happy for the two, even if they are currently taking a break. We walk into the store and take a look.

There are three we settle on- the three following pictures.

Andy looks up at the jeweler, and seems to recognize him. "Hey, are you John, Emma's friend?" He looks embarrassed. "Yeah- it's not often someone recognizes me." He holds out his hand for Andy to shake. "John." "Andy." he says and shakes John's hand. "Here- I'll give you a 45% discount on the ring. It's stunner- the original price is $1800- let me see-then that'll be $990 for you. Andy chose the last one- the alexandrite since it's Jackie's birthstone and favorite gem.

Andy

We get back to the bus and I show the guys the ring. Ashley asks "When?" "New Years Day, in England. It's also our 6 month mark." Suddenly, I get a call from Jackie.

"He's here......"
