we girls are straight up magic / god-sent express from the cosmos / the blood in our veins is not ours / but the blood of witches / of centuries past / see, they thought they were rid of us / thought killing us / was enough to keep us away / but our magic knows no bounds / this magic transcends all tangibility / and defies every god / our magic is our resilience / our magic is our continuance / womanhood these days / isn't something to fuck around with / it's kill or be killed / for girls like us / and when i say girls like us i mean / every woman and girl who has ever lived / let us witch-sisters join calloused hands / and worship at the altar of those who came before us / let us wear their scarred skin / and triumph in their cursed bones / let us be living memorials / proof that they lived and died / came and conquered / burned cities to the fucking ground / just for us to rise from the ashes / girl-magic intact
