"I can hear thou's voice... Why don't thou show thy face?" Hana asks out into the cold, barren forest that lines the closest town where her job began. Throughout the year she's been graced with the Sabertooth emblem, she's stayed close to the Duo Dragon Slayers and their exceeds.
While they've been named throughout Fiore as the Dragon Slayer Duo, as she accompanies them since she joined, she's gained a new name for herself, not even her comrades call her Akuma anymore. Chimei-Tekina Hana, but everyone sticks with Hana. The name meaning Deadly flower.
Beauty and grace of a colourful flower, yet, the looks can be deceiving. Almost like a rose, a blood red, yet the thorns give the rose a deadly feature.
The year has also given her a lot of experience, slowly learning her emotions, having learnt irritation and anger already. Along with a slight tid-bit of happiness – but no matter the emotion, they don't last long.
"I want to know who thou are..." Hana calls out again, the thick clouds above covering the night sky that's illuminated by thousands of stars. A rumble of thunder rolling through the atmosphere every few moments. Her comrades not seeming to move an inch with each blast of thunder.
Deep sleepers, not even noticing her leaping through the window prior to walk towards the forest like she does each night no matter her location.
Forests, fields, mountains and beaches. She goes to them all, knowing the voice she's awaiting for won't speak to her if someone is around.
"Z... I know thou can hear thy... I can feel thou's presence was recently here... Almost like everywhere I go... If thy wants to follow me... The least thou could do is speak to me..." She mutters, taking a few more steps through the foliage.
Her eyes lazily looking around her surroundings, the occasional owl hooting in alarm at her appearing at the dead of night. Hana unconsciously runs her fingers along the bark of the passing tree's. Her toes curling into the soil, her feet no-longer scarred from a year ago, but she's still only covering them in the same ribbon.
Nor has she changed the remainder of her clothing. The only thing changed about her appearance is the location of her Guild mark. Feeling a sense of 'dread' as the book described it as about her neck becoming imprinted on by a guild mark.
She removed it herself and replaced it on her ankle. The ribbon wrapping around it, yet not covering it. It got some questioning glances from Sabertooth's members, but she simply pointed to her ankle and they nodding with confusion dancing in their eyes.
"Akuma." Halting almost instantly, she looks around for that male voice that mutters softly somewhere around her. "Don't turn around... but, yes I am here." The male voice soothes gently, sending a shiver down her spine – yet, she doesn't turn around, the tension in her body leaving in heaps until her body is relaxed.
"Why did thou take so long?... Z... Thy has missed thou since last we spoke when thou saved me..." She replies softly, adjusting her bangs, pulling her hair behind her ears, as her head hangs low. The moonlight gleaming through the trees reflecting off her ear piercings.
"I'm sorry... Akuma... or should I say Hana? A perfect name for a beautiful female." His voice coos in response, a strange feeling in behind her ribcage rumbles to life. Her knee's weakening slightly but she keeps standing tall.
This happens only rarely when with Rogue at her side. Once every few months at least, maybe about three times the past year.
"Z... Does thou know what happened to me?" She asks softly, but a slight demand in her voice is evident if you focus closely on her tone. Her fingers curling as they clasp together in front of her, pressing them against her belt.
Many questions she still has to ask.
"We met on an island, Hana...While a danger was heading in that direction, I brought you with me here. But, I must be going. I'll speak with you soon. My sweet Hana." With the wind swishing as the male voice becomes quieter towards the end, a sense of being alone fills her with a foreign feeling.
Swiftly and gracefully turning around, her eyes wide as she glances around. This being the first time he's actually shown himself behind her instead of just his voice. Well, besides when they met on that island.
A dejected noise leaving her mouth as she lowers her head in a saddened manner before raising it and the features on her face contort into the normal emotionless façade.
"Soon... Z... I want to see your face again... I know you know my origins... I want you to tell me next we meet..."
Slowly she begins to walk towards the alight town that her comrades are still sleeping in. They head out tomorrow night to complete their mission before returning back to Sabertooth. The silence surrounding her only broken by the occasional person here and there.
Reaching the hotel's location which she memorized, she slowly digs her nails into the stone and climbing up, not wanting to use her magic tonight. Landing on the balcony, she pulls open the window which she didn't close properly and closing it tightly behind her and sliding the curtains to block the outside.
She's met with all Sting and Lector laying on their own bed, Rogue and Frosche on the other while the third bed is free for her. Sting snoring quite loudly and Frosche is mumbles softly in her sleep as she cuddles closer to her partner.
Eyeing them all carefully, Hana slowly slides into her bed. Crossing her hands over her stomach as she closes her eyes. Slowly drifting to sleep.

"Easy peasy." Sting grins after speaking smugly, dusting off his hands by swiping them together. Rogue adjusting his cape as Hana wraps her arms around Rogue's neck – gaining a piggyback in the process, not seeming to want to walk.
Rogue wrapping his arms around her legs as they latch around his waist. Keeping her steady as she tiredly pressed her forehead on his shoulder, closing her eyes as she seems to drum down into a silent state. Listening to the group.
"Hana, you're joining us in the games this year." Sting grins, Hana in response curls her toes and tilts her head slightly to the side.
"What do you mean, Sting?" She replies, Sting chuckling as they slowly begin to make their way down from they're location towards the town to collect their reward. Lector speaking up.
"Don't worry Hana-san! It's called the Grand Magic Games. It shows that Sabertooth is the strongest in Fiore! Sting and Rogue are normally in it, but Master told Sting that you'll be joining them this year." He grins towards her.
Although with her closed eyes, she doesn't see it.
And just like that. They entered the games a month later. Winning by far with their strong magic – yet, Hana didn't even use her affliction magic... She simply adapted. Minerva having been watching her closely during the games and has slowly gotten closer to the female who barely shows expressions.
It would be wrong to say them friends, but Minerva is determined to know more about her magic.
They won each year. Their ego's getting larger along with their names being spread throughout Fiore like wildfire. In between the games, they've went on hundreds of jobs, jewels stored up high for each of the five as they don't have to pay to stay in the rooms above the guild hall.
But now, the year has arrived and news travels fast that a certain guild has returned from Seven Years on an island that Vanished.
Fairytail has returned. But Hana doesn't know they have a male with the same hair colour as her.
