[Forest of Moore depths - The grass here is dying, the soil is dry, the trees bare of leaves and fruit. A heavy mist clogs the air, flowing in all directions, as if to desperately escape the depths. Enter Clyde Arrowny gasping for breath yet full of determination to find Bonnie]
Clyde Arrowny: Bonnie! Where are you my beloved? Call for me if you can hear me!
[A faint cry is heard not far away and Clyde pursues the cry only to be halted in his tracks as all colour slowly drains from his face]
Bonnie: Clyde! Help me, I beg of you! I heard your voice, where are you? He's going to kill me, you must hurry!
[Bonnie is severely wounded and is unable to stand, she staggers in a pool of her own blood looking attentively for Clyde Arrowny when a tall dark figure approaches her from behind]
Please Clyde! He is back, I beg you to come save me, I need you.
Rogue Immortal: Do continue to cry, is it not evident enough that your beloved has forsaken you and fled? Most humes know their limits dear. Yet you girl, you just won't accept you've reached yours.
Bonnie: I'm not afraid of you! my prince will come and save me! just you wait and s-
[Clyde watches unable to move, speechless at the sight and continues to remain hidden despite Bonnie's plea for help. The Rogue Immortal reaches for Bonnie's neck crushing her windpipe, ending her life]
Rogue Immortal: Satisfactory at best, the resistance is always a nice touch, to know that not even the one you loved the most could save you, must be a sad final thought. Wouldn't you agree, Clyde?
[The Rogue immortal reaches its slender arms to Clyde who is petrified with fear and remorse lifting him above the ground by his neck tightening the grip as he stares him directly into the eyes]
Killing you would serve no satisfaction, you want to die don't you? [chuckles menacingly] I rather you live, knowing how you failed her. You are powerless and forever will be.
Clyde Arrowny: ..... h-how... WHY?! WHAT DID SHE EVER DO TO YOU?
[Tears swell up in Clyde's eyes as his body goes numb from shock, trying to gasp for breath]
Rogue immortal: I need not a reason to kill, nor justify my actions to a savage prince who sacrifices lives of many for his own protection. Consider her your greatest sacrifice, she died, so now you live with the guilt. Let it consume you, grow on you and remember always that it was I who did this.
[Exit the Rogue Immortal after loosening its grip, dropping the young prince to the ground]
