[3 weeks have passed since Prince Clyde Arrowny's house arrest, he has not spoken to Bonnie since and is gripped by an ever growing sadness, with little to do in his free time, he watches down on the streets below hoping to see her again someday soon]
Clyde Arrowny: [aside] Why was I so bold? My recklessness has cost me my only happiness, if only I was brave, to fight for her. Should we just run away together? The thought has crossed my mind several times already. Riches are rags to me, the only thing of value I seek is my beloved's hand in marriage. So why am I in here, left with nothing but my thoughts? Allowing doubts to pull a shawl over my heart. It is decided, there is no more waiting. I'll be there soon my beloved.
[Clyde Arrowny tightly fastens his father's golden dagger to his belt & hesitates thinking of an escape plan]
How do I slip by a palace full of guards entirely unnoticed? From this height the window is suicide. I guess this my only options is to outrun them.
[Clyde takes a deep breath, examining the doorknob, mentally preparing for a daring exit. Without warning, he sprints forward, bolting past the guards who begin pursuit. Clyde escapes to the outdoors approaching Bonnie's house until he spots 2 guards speaking with her father]
Guard #1: Calm down Sir, we shall send a search party immediately, I assure you she will be returned safe from harm.
Woodcutter: Pray be quick! She is all I have left, if anything were to happen to her I don't know what I would do.
[Enter Clyde Arrowny]
Clyde Arrowny: What has happened? Where is Bonnie, is she alright?
Guard #2: Prince Arrowny! we are under strict orders. Return to the castle or we will have no other choice but to extend your house arrest.
Woodcutter: Prince Clyde, thank the Heavens you are here, Bonnie has been spirited away by a demonic presence in the Forest of Moore! These guards are being incredibly uncooperative.
Clyde Arrowny: She's been what?! And you two are standing here standing here while a citizen's life is in peril!? I'll deal with your complacency upon my return!
