It had been a few hours and I was starting to get hungry. I decided to fly back.
"I'm starvinggg~" I whined.
"That's what you get for going so long without eating" Poppy lectured me. I huffed, speeding up so I could get back to the guild and hopefully find something to eat. As I neared the guild hall I saw something that made me puzzled. There seemed to be smoke coming out of the top of the guild. The closer I got, the more my confusion turned to horror.
"Poppy, I think the guild is under attack!" I screamed, pushing myself to go even faster. I prayed and hoped and begged whoever was out there that it wasn't the dark guild that was after me. I barely even knew these people and already they could be put in harms way because of me. I should've just left when I woke up. What happened 3 weeks ago is happening, again, and it's all my fault this time. I reached the guild, slowly opening the doors so I could hopefully go undetected.

I guess I hadn't begged the gods enough.

There was absolute chaos. I knew it was the dark guild, even if I didn't know their name. Their emblem would be imprinted in my mind for the rest of my life after the night they attacked my home. It was a skull that seemed to be turning to ash, so you could only see the right side of the skull. The ashes appeared to be floating away in the wind. I saw so many good people in this guild that I hadn't even met yet battling for their lives because of me. Above all of the sadness, guilt and horror, I felt rage. It was worse than when my adoptive parents died. Now, not only had these people killed my family, they were now hurting the family that I was hoping to one day become a part of. I felt the water surge through my body, into the floor, and before I even knew what I was doing, all of the men and women in the dark guild had been trapped in water from their feet to their necks. Then I realized I had also water-locked the feet of the Fairy Tail guild members. Oops. I guess I'll have to deal with that later. I searched the crowd, trying to find the leader. Trying to find the man who cut my parents lives short. I pinpointed him, previously fighting with a girl with scarlet hair. I stalked over to him with fury coursing through my veins. His confusion turned to evil glee as he realized who I was. I got up close, really close, wanting to take in his features before I beat his face in and couldn't recognize them anymore. I grabbed his chin, turning his head violently from side to side. I wanted to make sure it was really him, that this was really the man that had haunted my dreams for the past 3 weeks. And it was.
"So you are the one who killed them." I growled, letting go of his face and taking a step back. I'd said it low enough that no one should've heard me.
"Who are you, and what do you want from me?" I asked, looking him up and down.
"We wanted you to join our guild," he said nonchalantly, "your power appealed to us."
"I don't believe you," I was blunt but I didn't really care at this point, "you wouldn't have gone through all of this trouble if you simply wanted me to join your guild."
"Well maybe if you came with us you'd find out." His face was too smug. Something was up.
"Now why the hell would I do that?" I kept myself alert. This guy had something planned.
"Because-" I heard water shift. I whipped my head around and froze the escapee but it was too late. One of the men had broken through the water, and had stuck a dagger through the shoulder of a girl with long blue hair. I didn't know her, but damn did she seem familiar. And damn did my heart break when I heard her cry out. I sucked in a breath, letting the man go so he could pull the dagger out of her and using a wind rocket to send him flying backwards. I also freed her, and the rest of the Fairy Tail members. I saw people rush to her. I wasn't thinking straight, and only had one thought in my head; No ones going to die. No ones going to die. Not again.
I used my wind to blow everyone back, away from her, as I sprinting to where she was laying. I heard protests from her friends but completely ignored them. I slid to my knees beside her and created a water dome around the two of us so no one could interfere.
"Hey, hey look at me. What's your name sweetie?" She weakly looked at me as I began surrounding her wound with water to stop the bleeding.
"Wendy" she said, smiling.
"Well my names Rini, do you mind telling me about what magic you use?" I just had to keep her talking while I healed her wound. If she passed out, she might not wake up for a while, or even worse, ever. I ripped my bag off of my back, searching to find all the remedies and herbs I had stolen from medicine shops. It may have only taken a minute or two to stop her bleeding and allow her to start healing, but it felt like forever. I learned that she was a sky dragon slayer, and that she had an exceed named Carla. She wouldn't stop looking at me like she was trying to piece something together, though. After I healed her the best I could, I brought down the ice dome, looking up to see many worried faces.
"She's okay," I said, "it wasn't deadly, and I stopped the bleeding quickly." I heard sighs of relief. I saw a small white exceed come flying into Wendy's arms, checking to make sure she didn't have any other wounds. I'd have to apologize later for worrying everyone and for putting this poor girl in pain, but for now I turned back to the dark guild master. I saw him laughing.
That was when I lost it. I was so infuriated that I couldn't see straight. I saw a memory, that had been buried and hidden. I saw a spark, and flames and I saw fire coming out of Avanindra's mouth and I saw it coming out of my small hand as a child. I held my hand up, facing him. I saw that same spark and fire appear in my own hand, and I barely even knew what was happening before I had screamed some fire dragon spell and there was fire coming out of my mouth and heading towards the horrible man. I didn't stop there, though. I felt the fire running through my veins. I felt my hands get hot as I ran at him, seeing flames licking my fists. Punch after punch, I heard him screaming in delight, telling me to show him what the Elemental Woman could do. I just kept hitting him, until finally he shut his mouth. I was right before; I couldn't recognize his previous features. I took all of the dark guild members out of their hold. Before they could do anything I swept them up in the air, shooting them out the door. I looked at the nearly unconcious dark guild master, picking him up with wind.
"Don't mess with me ever again, and don't you dare show your dammed face around here ever again." I threw him out the door also.
"Oh I'll keep coming back Rini. I'll keep finding you until I've killed enough people to convince you to join us. We need you, Rini! So we'll keep coming back." He laughed maniacally as his guild mates dragged him away, the dark guild finally retreating.

I was shaking.

"I'm sorry," I looked around at everyone. Many were bruised and cut up. "This is all my fault. They wouldn't have attacked you if I hadn't been here. I need to leave before anyone else gets hurt because of me." I turned and started walking towards the door with Poppy trailing behind me. She made no protests, knowing that this time I was right.
"Wait!" I stopped in my tracks and turned to see Wendy on her feet, "didn't you want to join Fairy Tail?"
"Y-yes. But-" I think I had used too much power.
"Then you're part of our family now." A girl with blonde hair- and really cute clothes if I may add, just a little too showy for me- stepped up next to Wendy.
"And we don't abandon our Nakama. We always help them in any way we can." Natsu stepped up next to the blonde girl, giving a big grin. Damn was I feeling tired.
"I'd love to be a part of your family, b-but I just d-don't think it w-would b-b-b" I felt everything get fuzzy. I really needed to stop fainting. It was starting to get annoying. I didn't feel my head hit the ground, though, so I think someone caught me. Maybe Poppy? I'm not sure. All I know is that I needed to sleep. So I drifted off into dream land as everyone around me worriedly rushed me back to the infirmary that I was just in this morning.
