AN: Okay hi everyone :)
I am really sorry for not updating regularly like before. School is stressful, considering I'm also the vice president of the class :( but I try to write chapters when I'm bored in class anyway HAHA (really guilty HAHA). But I'm just warning you that I wasn't super inspired to write this chapter so I am sorry if it sucks. But I really hope you enjoy it! And the book's almost going to be done ;) Oh and thank you for the 103 votes on the book! The votes made me really happy and yes I decided to add a little more chapters since you guys made my day :) thank you so much and I hope you enjoy this chapter, even if it may suck :*

It was midnight and we were at the New York Towers on the way to Caleb's apartment. I understand he kind of owns the building but then again he wouldn't be so defensive at this time which keeps me safe from security or getting punched or to be hunted down by the police and paparazzi. We sneaked through the hallways, quietly attempting to not make any noise that can startle the people living inside the rooms by the hall- but mostly not to grab attention from Sabrina who might interfere with our plans.

We finally made it to the end of the hall. Oliver did the honors of pushing the small round button so a doorbell can sound through the room. The blonde boy opened the door and stared at me blankly.

He didn't wear his pajamas yet, it's as if he intended not to get shut eye at all.

"What do you want?" He interrogated, annoyed.

"We don't want any trouble." I start, "We just want to know if Sabrina and you are an item."

Instead of him arguing with me-as I totally expected- he sighed and said smoothly, "Sabrina is yours man. She's madly in love with you. Plus I have a girlfriend in Europe."

I was flabbergasted. I knew I should've asked if he had a girlfriend before jumping to conclusions.

"Anyway, are we now friends?" Caleb held out his hand for me to shake.

I nod my head and then shake his hand.

"Now I need your help on something,"

We strode into the ice cream shop that Caleb publicized numerous times today and I could experience myself crave for each flavor that was presented inside the glass case.

The store was dyed in all white and instead of tables and chairs; there were coffee tables and sofas which reminded me of Starbucks. The lady behind the counter gave me a welcoming beam and offered me a free taste of their special flavor for the day which was mint chocolate chip. To be honest, I've never been a fan of mint but I've got to confess now that the ice cream here was delightful.

I requested for mint chocolate chip with a combination of coffee crumble so I could evaluate if the two were awesome together. She handed me the cup and I was about to exchange the five dollars when Caleb swat my hand away and paid for my order.

"You two make such a cute couple," the lady said.

"We're not exactly a couple." I say defensively and she just gives me a long smirk which makes me uncomfortable.

Caleb maneuvers me gently in the direction of the couches and I sit down, shifting awkwardly.

I tug the strap of my camera and hold it up to capture the busy shop and our ice creams.

"You really take photography seriously, it's cool." He complements, scooping up a spoon of his ice cream.

"It's my passion." I say, a grin formed on my face.

The bells that hung atop of the glass doors rang and the familiar couple walked in. Avery and Oliver glanced my way and it took at least a minute for them to plaster a fake smile. Five days have passed yet everything was definitely not okay. None of them even made an effort to make things okay, especially Francis. I know it was my fault why we sort of took a break but his act of ignoring my every text and call is getting out of hand and it's just childish.

Caleb realized the change of our atmosphere and told me to take out the ice cream and that we were going someplace else.

"Gladly," I agreed then we both headed out the door.

I peered at the statue in the middle of the park as we were settled on a wooden bench transversely from the figure. Outside the headlight above the bench was the only source of brightness between us. Caleb typed a text before we walked through the hushed trails in the direction of the lake.

I focused on my watch which read *10:00*. I squinted at him. "We should go."

"No wait, I miss being out here."

I nod then he leads me to a gazebo, ignited with pink and white Christmas lights and a table is set for a fine evening.

"What-"

Caleb covers my mouth and whispers, "Head over to the gazebo."

The wooden boards creak against my shoes and I could hear guitar strumming close by. I search the park for the beautiful tune when my eyes stop on its source- Francis Payne.

'Loving can hurt'
'Loving can hurt sometimes'

The melody sounds throughout the area and I couldn't help but lean on the railings of the small hut. He heads his way up till our faces are only inches away from a kiss. He ends the song and says, "Hi,"

"Hey," I answer.

After those simple words, as another cliché would always tell, we kissed and the others came.

"We're sorry." They all said.

I nodded then we engulfed each other in a hug.

"So, shall we eat?" Caleb finally arrives at the gazebo.

We all eye each other and scream, "Oh yeah!"
